Since I can't go and get the kids, and they're using Lynn and Ryan's car, I run over to the other bus to tell Max. I was out of breath, "What's wrong Demi?" Max's strong Australian accent greeted us with.
I take a few deep breathes and say, "Jessy's friends came and they went out to get Fro Yo near the venue, and the paparazzi have cornered them."
Max looks angry, "How do they even know what the hell she really looks like? You should've gotten me to go with them."
I nod guilty, "I know, but can you please go get them?"
He nods and gets a pair of keys and a car that follows us and starts driving.
Jessy's POV
Shit, why and how does this happen? I say sarcastically though, "Told you one day I would end up in a gossip magazine." Jessie and Justin just look at me with disapproval.
"Okay not the time to joke, I get it."
Just ten minutes ago I was getting my extra-large snack with gummy worms and then all of a sudden the paps are outside taking a million and five pictures.
Jessie gets an idea, "Hey, why don't you just try talking to them?"
I shrug but Justin disagrees, "Text Demi, so at least Max is on his way."
I do as he suggests and take another deep breath. It'll be just like the other radio interviews I've been doing, except this time they won't have any filters. I put my fro yo on our table and fix myself before walking out the door.
"Hey guy, I know you want to get your pictures and what not, but Demi isn't here with me or anything and I would really like some privacy."
I see a rather short guy in the front say, "We're here for you. You're the new shit."
I have a sudden realization, that things will never be the same. I'm no longer Jessy Rouleau the teenager; I'm Jessy Rouleau the superstar. Shit; all because of one single and a couple of performances. Well, that one single somehow got to number one and my performances have been in front of 20,000 people. So I guess that makes a little sense.
I smile and say, "Well thank you for that." I think quickly and say, "How about you guys can get one or two photos and I'll answer a couple of questions and after that you leave?"
Immediately the camera's flashes start blinding me and I hear all types of questions being thrown at me. I get really overwhelmed but I manage to stay grounded enough for me to say, "One by one for the questions please, also can you not do photos while I'm answering?"
They all laugh, and they stop. Hey, they are human, and have souls. I've been advised not to do this unless necessary, but I don't know why. I pick random people and answer the questions as honestly but discretely as possible.
"Are you a Lovatic?"
"Absolutely, Demi literally is the best in business to me. She is more than amazing in both personal and performing aspects."
"Have you ever dealt with any of the issues as she has?"
"I was bullied a little and that of course brought me down, but never anything as severe."
"Where are you from?"
"A small town in RI."
"Where though, and describe it!"
"It's literally the woods, it's called Woodsville for a reason! If you have ever seen scary movies that are in the middle of nowhere, that's where I'm from. I'm literally a quarter of a mile from both my neighbors."
