LIVING WITH US!!

Episode one

"first you get married to a man i barely know and not forgetting the fact that he is from America and now you tell me we are moving? And never coming back?"I said looking at the woman infront of me who apparently happens to be my mum smiling for no good reason.

"sleek moves right" she replies still smiling. Why is she even smiling?

So this is what happened my mother has been dating this guy from America and she recently got married to him and I thought my nightmare would be over after listening to all the lovey-dovey conversations and been forced into hours of video chats with my supposedly "father" I mean who the hell teaches you how to ride a bike on a video chat at the age of sixteen,,,, SIXTEEN GUYS!!!!!!! Anyway looking at my mum as we load things into the moving truck I can as well say I thought wrong!!!.Long story short from living in Africa all my life and moving to America to stay with my "father" and wait there is more,,,,,,,,, two siblings and going to a new highschool there in Atlanta, Georgia. Don't you think that's crazy? I mean have you watched all the crazy Netflix high school movies? How am I supposed to fit in?

"I thought you always wanted to go to Atlanta "says my mum cutting me off from my thoughts.

"exactly,,,, go to visit" I replied looking at her "not live there with strangers who are supposedly family?" as I went and slammed myself on the couch in the living room.

"darling,,, I know this hard for you" she said as she took a seat beside me holding my hand "all this thing about me dating and getting married to a new guy and suddenly having another family to be our own and also moving places into a whole other culture that we are supposed to fit in"

"exactly"

"but sometimes we just have to move on with life and accept the changes that come with it and in this case" taking her ipad and showing me the picture of my future father, brother and sister "this is the change in our life that we have to accept. Its hard I get it Tania but please try to adjust for me?" she said

"don't mum don't do it I swear if you,,,,, and there you go" I said as she turned a her face into one pitiful long face that always did the magic.

"please!!!"

"okay fine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," as she hugged me "for you I will try live with those three musketeers"

"yeeiiii that's my girl now go take your coat we will be going to the airport in about fifteen minutes" she told me as I woke up and headed upstairs to get ready for the flight "this is going to be exciting Tania I can feel it"

"yeah tell me all about mum, its not like am about to walk into my thirteen reasons why I hate this life"

"we are here!! Atlanta Georgia ,,,,, where will now move on with our lives" said my mum happily.I still think this is a very bad Idea but what can I do? Since the death of dad in that terrible accident I have not seen mum genuinely happy until she met Mr Creghan it's the least I can do for her after all the struggle of not having a job and having to provide all the necessities of life for me.

"Yeah I see that,,, speaking of which where are they you said they will be" before I could even finish I heard a shout from the other side if the airport.

"THERE IS MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE AND DAUGHTER!!!!!!!" that's when I saw Mr Creghan and his two kids the guy was smiling from ear to ear just like his father but the girl seemed bored by this whole thing. At least am not the only one who doesn't want to be here as we walked towards them and they hugged with my mum and eventually remembering the three utterly confused kids by this awkward state and breaking away from all the hugging and kissing "Hello there Tania welcome to Atlanta" he said happily.
