Chapter 7

Hailee's pov:

We end up at the bridge maker's house. I check my phone, it is 6:30 pm.

" I'm home" the bridge maker yelled.

" welcome back honey" said a women I assume it is his wife.

"Grandpa!!!!" Yells a kid jumping in his arms.

" hey inari." The bridge maker said.

We were chatting when kakashi sensei asked to talk to me in private. So we went outside.

" so whats do you want to talk to me about?" I said to kakashi sensei.

" I think the anbu that took zabuza to execute him is working with him instead because an anbu executes the rogue ninja at the scene. So we should keep a eye out because they might try to kill the bridge maker." Kakashi sensei said.

" ok so we should stay until the whole thing is resolved then." I said back.

" thats right." Replied kakashi sensei.

We both went back in and it was super time so we all sat down at the table and started eating.
Once we finished the meal we thanked them and went to bed. Once they fell asleep I left the house and went to the forest for some alone time.

" This mission went from D rank to S rank in one battle. Feck I wanted an easy mission not this. God damn." I thought while falling asleep on a tree.

" HAILEE" Someone yelled. I woke up from the sound of my name but there is no one here and who called out my name. Then I hear it again but now I realize it is kakashi sensei so I jump off the tree and start heading towards kakashi sensei.

" Yea" I say when I saw him.

" where were you" he asked in a serious voice.

" I was sleeping on a tree why?" I said back.

" whatever lets go back breakfast is almost ready." Said kakashi sensei.

"Ok" I say while walking back to the house.

Once we got there sasuke and naruto are fighting about who's better and sakura is trying to break them up but is being ignored.

" can you guys shut the feck up already! You guys are so immature." I say frustrated.

" you are not part of this so shush." Said naruto and goes back to fighting.

" hailee is right. You shouldn't be fighting. you guys are a team now so you guys got to be nicer to each other." Said kakashi sensei.

" fine." Said naruto and sasuke.

" Breakfast time!" Yelled the bridge maker's wife.

While we were eating naruto and sasuke started to fight about who can eat the most food. We quickly said to stop and they did. Once breakfast was over we went into the forest to train.

" so what are we going to do?" Asked sakura.

"Well we are learning how to climb the tree without hands." Answered kakashi sensei.

" how will we do that?" Naruto asked confused.

" listen to me and you will know. First you concentrate your chakra to your feet then run towards the tree and start climbing it." Kakashi replied while showing us how to do it. " now your turn."

" This seems easy enough" I thought and started to focus on my chakra.

I fail a couple of times put but I finally got the hang of it and climbed straight to the top of the tree. Once I made it I see that sakura also made it but sasuke and naruto didn't make it yet.

" congrats girls. I didn't think you two would make it this easily but because that was the only thing we were gonna work on you guys can go to the bridge maker." Said kakashi sensei clapping at our success.

" But how?!!" Yelled naruto confused.

" we listened." I say while walking away.

We get to the bridge where they were working on and sit on the side lines watching them work.

" what are you two doing here?" Asked the bridge maker confused.

" we finished training so we decided to come here to see exactly what you do." Said sakura.

" whatever just don't get in my way." Said the bridge maker annoyed that we are here.

An hour or two has past and the bridge maker is done work and we start heading back home but we need to stop to get some supplies for supper. We walk in a store there is barely any food in there. 

" why is there barely any food in here?" Sakura asked.

" There is a group that controls this village and the leader is gatō. Since he was in charge the economy and food supply for the citizens has decreased dramatically." He answered. While he was saying that I was recording the information on my phone so I can tell kakashi sensei about it and figure out a plan.

We got what we need and we left. A boy came up to us. He was short, skinny, looked like he haven't ate in a while and he has a tattoo on his shoulder but it looks like a seal jutsu of what i have learned.

" E-e-e-excuse me do you h-h-have any f-f-food." Asked the boy.

" I don't know if I have food but I will check but what's your name?" I asked while looking in my backpack.

" M-m-my name i-i-is fire." He replied.

" oh thats a nice name. I like it. Here." I say while pulling out a sandwich and a juice box and giving it to him.

" Th-th-thanks." Fire said while giving me a hug.

" No problem." I say.

We move on and once the boy was out of sight.

" Why did you give the monster food." Asked the bridge maker.

" what do you mean 'monster'?" I asked.

" he is the four tailed jinchuriki. Because of that we call him monster because thats what he is a monster." The bridge maker replied.

" even though he is a jinchuriki doesn't mean he is a monster. He didn't ask to be one so you guys should lay off of him. He is just a kid." I said angry.

" why do you even care about this?" He asked.

" because I met a friend who was a jinchuriki and he was being called monster and everyone hated him because of it and I stopped that because he is a good guy." I explained to him.

" yea you might have a good point." He said.

We got back to the house and kakashi sensei, naruto and sasuke are already there. We had supper and then naruto and sasuke left to continue training because they didn't succeed at climbing that tree. I told kakashi sensei about gatō's group and what they did in this village and then I decide to go for a walk in the forest.

" ughh I want this mission over with. But I want to know why people hate jinchurikis because fire seemed like a nice kid." I thought while climbing a tree to go to sleep.
