Chapter 9

Hailee's pov:

The next day I woke up and only naruto is there.

" What? Where is everyone?" I said quietly walking in the kitchen.

" good morning!" The bridge maker's wife said.

" ummm where is everyone?" I asked confused.

" everyone other than you and naruto went with my husband to the bridge." The wife said.

" oh." I said getting ready to leave to the bridge.

While walking to the bridge, I had this strange feeling like something is about to happen but I can't figure out what. So I decided to keep my guard up just in case I get attacked, but nothing happened. I got there and still had that feeling even though i'm at the bridge and it looks like everything is normal. The only thing that was odd was that it was very foggy. It wasn't foggy when I left the house. It was very bizarre. But then I realized that it is Zabuza.

" hey Kakashi sensei. Was it this foggy when you guys got here?" I asked.

" No it wasn't. I am confused on why it is so thick." Kakashi sensei answered.

I sniffed to see if I could smell anyone that may be hiding and waiting to attack and I sensed two people. I recognized one of the two scents and quickly realized I was right it was zabuza

" I scents two people one is zabuza but I don't know the second one." I said to kakashi sensei.

" ok. Then we should act normal but keep our guard up till they attack." He said and went back to doing what he was doing.

An hour or two later I was helping out but the fog is still here and he is still here. Well, somewhere at least. I don't know where he is in particular. But he is still around.

" why didn't he do anything yet. Is he waiting for the perfect time to strike. But wheres naruto?" I thought to myself.

" Hey Hailee can you go back to the house and get us some stuff? " Kakashi sensei asked while giving me a list of stuff.

" sure" I replied and started to leave.

I walk all the way to the house and nothing odd happened. But then I see naruto. Who, is beat up a little.

" What happened?! Are you alright?" I ask.

" Yea i'm fine. Two guys attacked the house while I was leaving. I got rid of them ." Said Naruto.

"Well we better get back to the bridge but first I need some stuff from the house." I said bolting to the house as fast as I can. While Naruto heads to the bridge.

I got to the house and there is a big hole in the house and the wife was standing outside worried.

" Hey how is it going?" I asked even though I know the answer.

" well I started cleaning then I realized my son is missing but don't worry about it he usually goes off on his own just please just make sure my husband is alright" she asked.

" I will. I'm just here for a few things." I said and started to get the stuff.

I head back and all I hear is fighting so I start sprinting to the bridge. Once there i see kakashi sensei fighting zabuza, sakura with the bridge maker and sasuke and naruto trapped in this ice panel thing. So I decide to help sasuke and naruto. I walk towards it but not getting in.

" Hailee don't walk in here it is a trap." Sasuke yells. He has a bunch of cuts all over his body.

" I'm not stupid. I wasn't going in there for the life of me." I said trying to find a way to break the ice.

" pretty stupid for you guys to fight in a middle of a battle." A familiar voice said. Thats when I realized it was haku  the boy from the day before.

" she is inside the ice panels." Sasuke said.

" fire dragon iron fist!" I yelled and punched the panel. The panel breaks but was quickly replaced by another one. 

" really helpful" said Naruto sarcastically.

" hey at least I tried something." I said

" so if I punch one panel it gets replaced by another and who knows which panel she is in. So what should I do?" I thought to myself and a  second later figured it out. I walk in the panel thing and get in the stance to attack. But then a bunch of needles started to head towards me.

" fire dragon shield!" I yelled and the needles hits the shield.

" what did I say! Don't come in it. Are you stupid!" Sasuke yells.

" yea you should've listened to your friend." Haku stated.

I put my right fist on my left palm and a blue light starts forming and I yell "Ice make spikes!" And ice spikes formed and breaks all the panels.

"H-how did you do that?" Haku said confused.

"I'm not only a ninja I'm also a wizard and that was ice make magic and the shield was fire dragon slayer magic. Just give up now because you are out matched." I said while getting ready to attack.

" thats impossible to be a ninja and wizard.  There's no such person." Haku said.

" so I'm not a person then." I said.

"Whatever you are done anyways." She said while bolting towards me.

"In your dreams." I said and went in position to  attack using ice make magic.

" ice make spikes!" I yell and spikes starts to form under her making her jump high in the air.

" you think I'm going to fall for it again?" Haku laughed.

The spikes disappears and I jump over her.

"Fire dragon talon!" I yelled and kicked her to the ground.

"You planned that didn't you?" She said in pain from the attack.

"Of course. Did you really think I was that stupid. I knew you were gonna jump to dodge my attack. People like you are predictable." I said confidently.

" well you think you're all that. Ha." She laughed at me then started bolting towards me.  She attempts to hit me but I dodge her attack.

" And I thought you were nice." I said. "But you're with that guy making you the enemy. So tell me what were you actually doing in the forest?"

"I was picking those plants, nothing more. The plants would make a medicine for zabuza. He found me and helped me when I was homeless. So obviously i'll help him." She said.

She came to punch me but I dodged it and I kicked her in the back. We stood there for a minute. Halu looks over to zabuza, who was fighting kakashi, and started bolting towards them cause kakashi was gonna hit him with a move called chidori which is really strong move. When kakashi was close to hit zabuza, haku went between and kakashi hit her in the chest where her heart is. Haku died instantly.

"N-n-no what have you done! He didn't deserve this." Zabuza yelled.

"She I didn't do anything. She sacrificed herself for you to live zabuza. Kakashi explained.

"Well you still didn't get the job done. Said some mysterious guy that I believe is his boss.

"Screw you. She would be alive if you didn't force her to come. Zabuza said.

"Whatever. He was useless anyways." The boss said.

" How dare you." Said zabuza walking towards him.

The boss went behind the group of men that he brought to protect himself. Zabuza kept walking even though every one was throwing swords at him, stabbing him in the back. When he reached the boss he stabbed him and pushed him off the bridge.  Zabuza walked back and layed down beside haku.

"I'm sorry. You deserve to be happy in heaven." He said and passed away.

We cleaned the area up and I healed sasuke up and we went to bury haku and zabuza.  Then went back to the house and stayed one more night.
