I was standing on the edge of a building tears streaming down my face cuts littering my arms, my white dress covered in blood. "I give up.. I'm done with everything!" My heart was heavy filled with pain as I stepped off the edge of the building falling toward the ground fast I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but it didn't come. I opened my eyes seeing Melancholy "didn't I say you are mine I'm not gonna let you die by yourself I will protect you even if it's from yourself...I love you Eline". More tears starting streaming down my face as I wrapped my arms around Melancholy and cried heavily. Melancholy wrapped his arms around me I felt safe like I was home. "Hush my love nothing can hurt you I am right here" He set me down in my bed and pulled the cover over me and kissed my lips gently. "If you ever need me call my name and I will be by your side always..promise me Eline" I blushed slightly and mumbled "I promise..". Melancholy smiled and sat at the end of my bed guarding me as I slipped into a deep sleep.
