Prologue

Celeste's POV

"Huy Kristal Celesteh!" I heard a voice of a girl shouting from my back.

I look back to find out if i am thinking the same person who's shouting that strange name. And yep, I'm right. It's Gwen. My childhood bestfriend. She's pretty annoying sometimes, just like this time. But the good thing about Gwen is that... she's always there for me whenever i need a comfort from someone. Sa bagay simula bata palang magkaibigan na kami. It's been 17 years since our friendship started. Our parents are the "bestest friend" so when i was 3 years old, my mom introduce me to Tita Lily's daughter which is Gwen. She's 3 y/o at the same time. We've been playmates since then. Until we go to school and cry together when our parent left us. Parang mga tanga lang eh no? HAHAHAHA. We go to elementary, highschool, and college together. She became my human diary. Siyempre ganon din naman ako. ehehehe. Kaya lab na lab ko yan kahit mas maganda ako sa kanya. HAHAHA.

"It's Krista Celestine!" I said. We are here at the mall buying some stuff. It's Saturday, so it means... it is shopping day for us. We keep that kind of bonding since we're just 16 years old. We promised to never break that kind of "sissy moment" until she and I are still friends. Even though sometimes we cannot go bcoz we also have our private time and also when we have a emergency call or family problem, we promise to understand each other whatever happens and let the Saturday be enjoyable alone. And i am glad that we are still what we are 17years ago.

"Arte naman nito! Halika na nga at kumain na tayo." Gwen grabbed my hand and pulled it as she's saying something.

"Where do you wanna eat?"

"Oh bakit ako? Ikaw dapat tinatanong ko ngayon eh. Where do you want to eat, Celesteh?"

"Okay. Max's nalang tayo." I answered.

"Max's?!"

"Oh?"

"Mag McDo nalang tayoooo!!!!"

"Oh eh akala ko ba ako mamimili ngayon?"

"Ay sinabi ko ba 'yon? Basta halika na! Nag ccrave ako sa McDo eh."

"Tinanong mo pa ako, ikaw din naman pala mamimili. Pshh."

"Sarreehhh!" she grabbed my hands once again and we started to walk.

When we arrived at McDo, i insisted to take our orders. Gwen found a table where we can sit and eat. Medyo nasa gilid kami pero kitang kita yung counter. Wala naman gaanong tao ngayon. Yun ang ipinagtataka ko ngayon. Bakit wala atang masyadong tao eh weekend ngayon? Well, nevermind. Bakit ko ba kasi iniisip yon? Hay nako ka Celestine. Napaka ano mo talaga.

"Gwen anong iyo?" asked Gwen what's her food/meal for the day.

"Uhmmm... i'll take 2pcs of spicy chicken mcdo, mcfloat, and a large fries." she answered.

"Hindi ka naman ata gutom noh?"

"Hindi naman. Eh ikaw ano oorderin mo?"

"I'll order burger and vanilla iced coffee nalang. Nabusog ako sa order mo eh."

"Kaya ang payat mo eh!"

"Hoy hindi ako payat! Sexy tawag diyan! Pwe!" i turned my back to go to the counter and order our foods.

Sa walang pila na ako pumila. Hindi naman ako tanga.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am! McDo PH. What's your order po?" the cashier asked me.

"Uhm 2pcs of spicy chicken McDo with rice, of course. And also 1 mcfloat, and a large fries. Also 1 vanilla iced coffee and 1 regular burger."

"Is that all, Ma'am?"

"Yes, please."

"395 po lahat, Ma'am."

"Here." i handed her 500 pesos.

"I received 500. Here's 105 pesos, Ma'am. Wait lang po." She grabbed my iced coffe without any cup in it and my burger and also get Gwen's fries and mcfloat. 

"Ipapaassist ko na lang po kayo." the cashier said.

"Okay. Thank you." i answered. I grabbed my iced coffe and turned around to wal---

"ARAY!" i heard a shout.

I bumped into something or should i say someone?

Malamang someone. Sumigaw nga eh. Nako self napakabaliw mo talaga. Minsan talaga ang sarap din batukan ng sarili ko eh? Bobo lang teh?
