Joel was already exhausted.

Not just physically. He was emotionally and mentally exhausted.

As one of the Royal Guards of Stargazer Pack, he was involve in all Pack matters. May it be Political, social, and other pack shits he was commanded to do so.

Sadly, he never got used to be in this barbaric activities of his pack -

"Please let us go!! Plea-aaaaaghhhh!!!" the sound of his tortured scream grated at his ears.

- or rather, the werewolf community as a whole. No,  not even ecstatic nor exhilarated in this kind of work.

Ohh truly he wanted to cringe, to just let that foolish human go, but that meant placing himself in that human's position. As a royal guard for the Alpha, he must not show any emotions to any of his fellow pack members because it is a sign of weakness.

And such weakness is equivalent to his and his family's death because apparently to our Alpha, weakness is hereditary.

What kind of twisted mind was that..?

And how did we, werewolves, ended up to be in this kind of sadistic, morbid nature?

He almost vomited to the stench of months-old blood and remaining decayed body parts in this basement yet he struggled to kept up his neutral face even though he just regurgitated what was left on his stomach.

The human continued to express his never-ending torturous scream that's continually grating at his ears that it almost wanted to be left out of his head, out of this fucking world.

Beta Morris puts down the medium-sized hammer on the table and smiled creepily as he stare at the human's fingers- or rather - what was left of it.

He grasp the human's already deformed face and looked at him menacingly. "You already know what will happen if you lend your biological knowledge about us to those motherfuckers and still, you did that? What are you, brave or stupid?" The beta was referring to those Hunters that is their worst enemy.

The human looked at him, frightened and forlorn that he knows he will not live another day to see his child that he left on the other side of the Earth in fear that they will hurt his only child. And how he is so right to decide that in a last-minute ride before he was abducted by these beasts.

They all suddenly stand erected as they felt their Alpha, power-walking through the halls of the basement. They all felt more intimidated seeing the gruesome look on his bloodied face.

Maybe the Alpha already started the party with his own 'Happy Tree Friends' somewhere to get that too much blood on his body that was surely not his...

"A-alpha Emmett!!"

"Did the doctor already speaked?"
