Once Upon A Time....

There was a princess named Lily who was unlike any other princess. She wasn't born a princess. She was made a princess by the three King's of the land. She was coveted and spoiled by the three kings. Anything she desired, they gave it to her. What ever she desired to do, they let her. She was special, inspiring, talented. The three kings love her and she loved them just as much.

One day, she had met the guy of her dreams. Literally her dreams. She has the ability to see certain people's future. She knew that the three kings didn't like his family but she was hoping that they would let her be with him since he was her first and only love.

But when she told them, they forbade them from being together. She screamed I hate you at them and fled the castle. She ran to the nearest cemetery since it would be the last place they would ever look for her. She sat by a stone statue of an angel and wept. She soon heard voices.

"Look at her sis! The poor little minx. She's crying. I hope she's okay."

"I hope so too." Lily looked up and saw two twin ghosts! Lily had always been able to see the dead. It had been an unfortunate talent that she had.

"What do you two want?" The twin ghost sisters looked stunned by her ability to not only see them, but hear them too.

"You can see and hear us?" Princess Lily nodded. "Okay then. Answer me this. Why are you crying?" Lily told them everything that happened. The visions. The finding him. They falling in love. The family feud. The older twin interrupted at the falling in love part. "Wait a moment! How old are you? You look too young to be falling in love."

"I'll be 500 years old this up coming Halloween. I'm sorry. I never did introduce myself. I'm princess Lillian. Princess Lily for short. I'm an immoral being. I should still age normally but for some odd reason, I age extremely slow."

"Wow. Anyway. So your saying that usually when you want something, they give it to you?" She nodded. "Well here's what you should do now. Instead of moping here in this home for the dead, go back and confidently tell them that you desire to be with him. But remember to be extremely confident like how you are with anything else that you said you wanted." Lily stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Okay. I will. Thank you so much... I'm sorry. I never got your names."

"That's because we do not know them. We only know each other and that we are dead."

"Well that's okay. We'll either figure it out or I'll give you two new names." The twins liked the sound of that idea. They bid the princess farewell and Lily left to go confront the three kings. When she finally got to them, she became nervous. But she remembered what was told to her by the ghost twins. She dug down deep and pulled out as much confidence as she could muster and told them that she wanted to be with her mate. They looked at her stunned but accepted it. She was extremely happy and ran to find him.

After that, she and her mate would go visit the twin ghosts. He couldn't see them but he understood that it was them that helped them be together. During one visit she decided to ask the older one how she knew that it would work if she behaved more confidently. "Simple. You said that whenever you truly desired something and would ask for it without any hesitation, I figured that you might have the ability of persuasion. You truly desired him but you knew that the two families didn't get along. That made you hesitate. When you let go of that hesitation, what you truly desired shined through and became what they wanted for you to have." She thought about it and smiled.

"I finally have names for you two. You," she said pointing at the older twin, "are always looking out for what I truly desire. So your name will be Desire. Your twin is similar but she is peaceful until she is pushed to her limits. So her name will be Desiré." They absolutely loved there new names. Lily brought them home with her to be her extra eyes and ears around the castle. They became her own personal advisors. And that was how she spent the rest of eternity. With her mate and her two spirit friends to guide her through their unusual life.
