(Two weeks later)

"Gigi have you seen my phone?" I asked, lifting random objects around the room to see if it was under them. She shook her head, not looking up from her iPhone. I stopped looking for my phone and turned my attention to her sprawled our body on the bed. "Are you really still ignoring me?" She continued to type in her phone not paying me attention. "Hey this is not easy for me you know. It's my life that's going to change whether I decide to have this baby or not. So can you please drop the attitude and be here for me."

Since I told her that I had doubts of going to full term with the baby she has been ignoring me round the clock for two weeks straight.

She exhaled loudly and put her phone down on the bed. "Fine, I'm sorry." She apologised. "Ignoring you was petty of me. I just want to be an aunty and I know Gio wants to be a dad. I'm putting our wants before yours and I'm sorry. I'm down with whatever you choose." She explained sitting up.

I smiled. "Thank you that's all I wanted." I chirped happily. "Plus you already have a niece and twos nephews, you really don't need me to make you an aunty." I walked over to the bed and sat down next to her.

She shrugged. "Yeah, but I don't really like them. They're all brats and they don't know me because my brothers hardly brings them over." She whined, crawling over to me. "However, with your baby I'm going to be with him or her everyday since you'll live with me forever."

I scoffed. "Yeah will doing hold you breath." I muttered.

She wrapped her hands around me and laid her head on my shoulder. "From now on I'm going to be fully supportive, which is why I booked a doctors appointment for an ultrasound and information session on getting an abortion."

My body straightened. "That's nice, but isn't it too early for an ultrasound?" I asked rigidly, because I knew as soon as I saw my little foetus I would be sold to bring it to full term. "Plus my regular doctor is all the way in California, we're in Miami."

She shrugged. "Maybe but I pulled us a favour and got one anyway." She said rubbing my stomach. "Just to make sure there's a baby there in the first place. Those who test are not always reliable."

I shrugged her my shoulder. "I rather see my regular doctor." I admitted causing her to pout. "I could wait until I get back to California."

She grinned sheepishly. "And I completely understand that," she paused, "but the appointment In an hour at 3:30 pm."

"Really." I clipped, annoyed that she would book me with a doctor  I don't know. She nodded. "I'll go get ready then." I said reluctantly, getting myself of the bed.

"You are definitely pregnant, miss." The doctor announced, confirming the what I already knew and hoped was a mistake.

"Are you sure?" I asked, staring at the screen. I couldn't see anything but black and white.

He nodded. "If you look right here you'll see a small dot, this is you gestational sac. That's where your baby is currently forming." He explained, zooming in the image. "As well as Your HCG count has elevated meaning that you are hundred percent pregnant." He assured me. I looked up at the ultrasound machine. "Five weeks and four days to be exact."

I squinted my eyes trying to enhance me vision. "I'm sorry I can't see it. Where is it?"

The doctor chuckled. "It's okay I get that a lot with new mothers." He moved the transducer around my gel fill stomach to find a better position and pointed and the a tiny dot on the screen. "It would've much clearer if we did a transvaginal ultrasound, but right now your baby's is the size of of a sweet, so don't be worried if you can't see it right now."
