chapter two. Who is he?

Note: It has been a while since I freaking updated... I have been busy with school and learning Chinese, I was also watching hunter x hunter. Please read my fanfic too hehe (I'm sorry to plug it) Happy birthday to my orange boy Narancia !!!

"Are you okay?" the man asked me. I fell to the floor, holding my head. At this point, I am so sick and tired of check-ups, appointments, I just want to live a normal life.

"Yes," I answered him, biting my lip to stop thinking about the unbearable pain. Suddenly I can feel things come to me all immediately. I can vividly remember how my parents died.

"My name is Narancia Ghirga." He told me as he showed his hands, I immediately got it and shook it. He carried me. My head hurts so much I can't even think straight. He carried me until he found a chair for me to sit in. He smiled so softly at me. The hospital is really busy right now. Patients like me were either holding their IV Bags or strolling around with their wheelchairs.

"Thank you for everything," I told him with my hands hidden in my back as I gazed directly to his eyes. He's a very handsome man and he quite appeared as someone my age.

"You're welcome." He looked away from me as he grabbed something from a bag. His smile is very bright. If it wasn't for him, I would've been dead right now.

"Here, some gum." He threw a piece of gum to me. It was orange flavored. I opened the gum and chewed it with him. It tasted really good. But, the taste is really familiar.

"If you weren't there, I would've died," I told him with a huge smile. I really would want to thank Narancia for what he did. I wouldn't be here without him.

"Jelena... I want to know you more." Narancia said to me. I flustered at hearing that. I never heard a compliment like that for a while now. With my family not being on my side and people bullying me, it was such a relief Narancia came to my life.

"I want to know you too!" I exclaimed with a huge grin in my face. He returned the smile to me. His smile is very bright and genuine. Like how the sun shines in my face.

"Even if you're my batchmate, I never really see you," I told him. Besides the fact that he is my batchmate, he felt familiar for an unknown reason. I felt so drawn to him.

Then, we saw a nurse walk towards us. "Jelena Vargas. Is that you?" She asked me. I nodded at her. I feel so anxious right now. One of my biggest fears is my hospital bills. I don't even know how to pay for it.

"You're free to go!" She told me. I smiled so brightly as we went to my hospital room. Really? I can't believe it! My anxiety about my bills is removed. But, I stopped myself from walking away. I looked at the nurse again.

"Who paid my bills?" I asked the nurse, my eyes were wide open. My heart stopped. I started getting very anxious. I don't have any living relatives, at least none of my concern. Who would pay for that?

"They decided to remain anonymous." The nurse told me. That is a bit shady, now I really want to know who they are. Narancia smiled at me as he opened my hospital room. Getting my schoolbag.

"We'll find out," Narancia said to me as he patted my shoulders, with a nod of assurance
