Walking down the streets of Los Angeles, with Nick and Brandon in tow, we decided that last minute shopping was in order before they had to perform at this huge venue tomorrow. Although, it wasn't just any huge venue.... it was on the Jimmy Fallon show! It would be one of their biggest debuts to date as a band, and being the fashionistas the boys were, they spontaneously decided that a new fit would ease their worries for the next day.

"Brando, I really don't think you need any more of these jackets. You have at least six of them," I said, grinning as the Texan searched through a sale rack of jackets - all grouped with similar styles but different colors. He lets out a sigh, turning to face me with a pout.

"Come on, (Y/N). You're supposed to be on my side with this," he begs, pulling on the best face he could manage. I rolled my eyes, looping my arm with his to pull him away, his other hand dramatically waving at the jackets as if it were a cruel goodbye.

Nick, amused, watching us to then follow us out of the store - back on pavements, illuminated with the lights of the city. "Hey, where did the rest of the boys walk off to?" the Jersey boy wondered aloud, earning pondering looks from his fellow bandmate before they both peered at me for ideas. I shrugged, walking between the two performers until we stopped at a curb, seeing the three other members of the boy band chowing down on some classic fast food. Typical, should've guessed it.

It didn't take long to cross the road and make our way in - Austin and Zion immediately spotting us at the entrance, signature paper bags in both of their hands.

"Ayoooo! We got some burgers!" Zion hollered, and for whatever reason, it earned a hoot and holler from all the boys to then huddle around and get hyped about the food. I rolled my eyes, my eyes laying upon my boyfriend, Edwin.

"Baby, we literally just ate an hour ago," I say in amusement, earning a cheeky grin from him as he let my arm loop with his.

"Oh c'mon, it's just a snack. Besides, who can resist a good set of nuggets and fries? I know I can't, but can you?" Edwin says suspiciously, narrowing his eyes as he brought said chicken nugget near my lips. I look at it temptingly before looking at him, snagging the food from him with a simple bite to peck his lips afterwards.

"Nuggets look like snacks, my man looks like a whole meal!" I sang, Edwin laughing as he shook his head, adjusting his arm to lounge around my shoulders as the boys started to all talk about their performance anxiety for tomorrow. Despite the commotion, I peered up at the olive-colored boy, nudging his side a bit with my weight to earn his attention. "Are you nervous?"

Edwin thinks for a moment, his eyes laid upon me. It was like all time stopped around us - one of those moments that just had something to ease it in some way. He then shrugs, a smile growing on his lips as he lingers a kiss against my temple. "Why would I be when I've got my lucky charm right with me? Well, backstage but that's equally just the same."

I simply smile, bringing a hand to guide his chin to face me more squarely. Edging on my tiptoes, I lay a kiss on the man's lips, a sweet security overwhelming my senses for those few seconds before I pulled away.

Moments like this, no matter who surrounded us, were ones I could never take for granted.
