Insomnia: inability to sleep.

Today as always, sleep couldn't take me, no matter how many times I pleaded and cried but it still didn't come.
Walking around the house, hoping I could find something to put me to sleep. As always, nothing could.
Insomnia has been my best friend since childhood or should I say enemy, I honestly don't know what to call it. I have come to terms with my condition but I hoped and prayed for it to leave me.
Insomnia has taken away sleep from my eyes. I cry everynight thinking about what it would be like being in dream land. I know I might not experience that so I don't get hopes up.
What does it feel like? Do you have dreams everytime? Does sleep come naturally? How do you sleep?
I guess my answers won't come anytime soon.
