Camp Camp Nerrison oneshots (Nerris x Harrison)

"alright, since all the other campers already have a job, Nerris and Harrison, you two will decorate the mess hall"

Nerris and Harrison groaned in unison. they both hated each other and would literally be willing to do anything to get out of working together.

"work with her? please, i don't want to associate with fake magic kids"
"right back at you, dwarf"

they both argued back and forth before eventually grabbing the decoration materials and stools.

"hey Harrison, could you pass me that roll of tape?"
Nerris was trying her best to be nicer, since she would prefer not to have an argument while working.

Harrison handed her the tape when all of a sudden, the stool Nerris was standing on toppled over and she fell.

"NERRIS WATCH OUT" Harrison's instinct told him to reach out and catch her, and he did. (UwU)

Nerris' face was tense and her hands were covering it.

"Nerris? you okay?"

she relaxed a little and looked up at Harrison. and for the first time ever, not with total hate.
he actually seemed..kinda cute?

Harrison stared into her blue eyes that seemed to sparkle a little. he never thought she was anything extraordinary but for some reason, at this moment she seemed like the prettiest and most precious girl he had ever laid eyes on.

a little bit of blush crept up to both of their cheeks.

Harrison savoured hugging her warm body as much as he could without making it weird for her.

"t-thanks for catching me, H-Harrison"
"it's no problem.."
he turned away to try and hide how red his cheeks were. godam she was light and warm. he could hold her like this all day.

"are you..okay?"
"yes"
"should we get back to work?"
"yes"
"well...can i..kiss you?"

this took Nerris by shock and she blushed harder.

"...yes"

Harrison looked at her fondly for a few seconds before kissing her passionately.

Nerris was confused, does this mean he likes her? does she like him? no. she would never like a loser like him.

she does.

she kissed him back and put one hand on his cheek.

they pulled away after 7 seconds or so.

they both just stared at each other in shock, blushing hard.

"i-i uh..sorry?"

Nerris made a confused face. "why are you sorry?"

"i'm..sorry for kissing you? i know you don't like me it's just...you suddenly seemed so cute and-"

she picked him quickly on the cheek.
"you don't have to be sorry, i really liked that. but if anyone else finds out i will kick your ass"

Harrison chuckled a little. "wanna do that again?"

"yea, but like...we should probably finish decorating first.."

"oh right yea uh.."
he set her down lightly and they both awkwardly went back to work.
