LUKE P.O.V
She was gorgeous.
I watched Grace as she danced and laughed with Riley on the dance floor. Her brown hair cascaded down her back in loose waves. Her navy blue and white checkered shirt swayed as her body manuevered left and right. Light pink skinny jeans clung to her legs in way that showed off all the good accents of her legs.
As the night wasted on, Grace continued dancing under the dimly lit Pagoda without a care of anything in the world. The music seemed to control her body and she swayed along with the beat.
I continued to watch her completely zoning everyone else out. Just the sight of her laughing and smiling was hypnotizing to me. Everytime I heard her laugh from the middle of the dance floor, I smiled to myself; I'm glad she is my friend.
By the time the most recent song had finished, I saw Grace manuevering through the crowd over to the seats I was sitting at. She smiled at me when she sat down next to me with a cold water bottle in hand.
"So you having a good time?" I asked.
"Great! Just all this dancing is tiring me out." She said, out of breath.
"You wanna take a walk with me? Down on the shore line?"
"Sure."
I grabbed hold of her hand and guided her through the massive crowds of people and out of the Pagoda. Passing over the wooden path way to the shore line, a huge breeze gusted as two tides crashed against the sand.
I took my blue and white varisty jacket off and placed it over Grace's shoulders to keep her warm. She smiled back at me; that smile that I adored.
"So, not much of a dancer are you?" I said, sarcastically.
"I grew up taking ballet and just dancing in my room...in front of the mirror...trying to figure out if I looked good or not."
"Well, you looked very good to me."
"You little suck up!"
"First of all, technically you suck and you don't even know me to say that."
"Alright. Let's play a little game. 20 questions. I'll start. What's your favourite colour?"
"Does it really matter for you to know what my favourite colour is?"
"Yes! What if I have to buy you a birthday present and I needed to know what colour sweater I was gonna buy you." She said, raising her eyebrows.
"Well, first of all I wouldn't allow you to buy me a sweater for my birthday and second, it's blue."
"Ahh the colour of the ocean. Did you know that the ocean is filled with whale's cum?"
"Yes I did. Whale's shoot out 1.5 liters of cum."
"I didn't know that, but I just learned it from Snooki off of Jersey Shore..." She said, looking down at her feet smiling. She just giggled to herself and I did it right along with her. When things calmed down again she said, "It's your turn to ask the question. Go on."
"Uhm, Converse or Vans?"
"Vans all the way baby! Though I'm wearing Chuck Taylor's now, ah fuck, uhm awkward turtle."
"You stressing under pressure is very cute."
"Nawwsies! Aw stop it. You just saying that. Anyway, next question. Most embarassing moment?"
"I was lining up for goal at Essendon family day and their was a whole line of people waiting for an autograph and they just watched me. I was about to kick the ball I was trying to look good, I was wearing runners no grip and I slipped, I nearly did a backflip basically but...yeah everyone was just laughing at me." (Sound familiar eh? haha)
