I felt groggy as I stood up, rubbing the sides of my head. I had a pounding head ache and the sounds of chains clattering didn't help. Wait..chains?! I looked around, finding myself in a basement chained to the wall.
"Hello Dear," the deep voice purred from the corner of the small dark room, "How ya holding up?" he laughed.
"K..Kayden..you don't have to do this..p..please.. let me go..!" I begged him, trying not to cry.
"Sorry baby cakes, no can do!" he smirked as he swung a key around in the air. "You're here for the rest of your little pathetic life!!" He slowly got close to me, pressing me to the wall with his body. I flinched as he put his face in the crook of my neck and he laughed.
"Oh, my dear beautiful Sky, don't worry! just be a good little girl and I won't hurt you.. too bad!" He winked, smirking at me as he pulled back a little. I couldn't think of anything else to do but kick him in the balls, so I did. He dropped his key as he fell to the ground in pain. I quickly unlocked the chains from my wrists and ran up out of the basement and outside to the woods.
He couldn't have taken me too far out here, I wasn't asleep that long, was I? I jumped when I heard him yell out to me.
"You can run but you can't hide my dear!!" I started crying as I ran behind a large tree. I stopped myself from crying, for now, and worked on trying to catch my breath. Suddenly, he appeared from behind my tree and got me off guard.
"Got ya!!"
