After homecoming

Michelle has been named team captain of the decathlon and peter had turned down becoming an avenger.
At peters apartment.
Ned: I can't believe you turned down being an avenger that's crazy.
Peter: crazier than aunt may finding out that I'm Spiderman that did not go down well.
Ned: how is she so calm about it.
Peter: I explained to her I haven't been in that much danger and I've saved peoples life's she's calmed down a little.
The next day at school.
Peter has been working harder to get back on track to where he was getting straight A's in all of his classes.
At lunch MJ sits down next to peter and Ned.
Ned: I still can't get used to you sitting with us I mean you used to sit like 10 seats away and make fun of us.
MJ: well peter is less annoying since liz moved to Oregon.
Peter: what do you mean annoying?
MJ: (imitating peter) is is me or does liz look pretty today I mean I thought she was pretty yesterday but today I mean look at the skirt she is wearing.
Ned: to me you just sound jealous.
MJ: jealous of the boy who pretends he knows spider man just to impress a girl.
Peter: why is it so hard to believe I know Spiderman we both work for Tony Stark.
MJ: so at your internship you get to hang out with the avengers.
Peter: I don't hang out with them but I do see them I work with stark in avengers tower.
MJ: okay.
Peter: so Michelle since we're friends now Ned and I are doing a Star Wars binge watching weekend at my place whilst my aunt is out of town if your interested.
MJ: sounds fun I'll need to check with my parents first it's weird having friends I mean before you too the only friend I had was a book.
Ned: that's because you used to sit there alone with a book and insult the only two people in school who were nice to you.
MJ: okay Ned we get I'm a weird person.
Peter: I'm happy we're friends.
MJ: and I'm happy you've rejoined the school I mean you quit all your clubs hardly turned up and your grades dropped but If you do it again as much as it will pain me I'll drop you for flash.
Peter: got it you can count on me I promise no more distractions.
MJ: and no more running off in DC I mean where did you even go I mean it wasn't until Spider-Man saved everyone you turned up how strange.
Peter: well we were lucky Spiderman turned up I went out the night before to the library to study and I lost track of time and fell asleep and when I woke up I tried to make it decathlon and couldn't and I spoke to Ned on the phone and he told me where you were.
MJ: okay anyway my mom texted says it cool to hang out a peters this weekend.
Ned: your parents are okay with you alone in an apartment with 2 teenage boys.
MJ: my mom has met you both and she knows that your are geeks so she ain't that worried no offence.
Peter: it's progress a month a go she would have called us geeks and losers and not care about our feelings and great you can spend the weekend with us it will also be great to find out who Michelle is without a book.
MJ: it should be interesting.
After school
Ned: so why did you invite Michelle to our Star Wars marathon tonight.
Peter: look she has been socially awkward for a while and she called us loser now she is calling us her friends we don't know anything about Michelle and we need to get to know her.
Ned: this is the perfect chance to get to know her?
Peter: we're hanging out with her all weekend.
Ned: what time is she meeting us?
Peter: 6 at my place.
