Where were you?

After school practise for the academic decathlon. Peter had to go stop a bank robbery after school and had to blow of practise peter comes running at the end
Peter: I know I'm late.
Flash: late you might as well have not turned up.
Michelle: for the first time flash I finally agree with you.
Everyone else leaves which just leaves Peter and MJ alone.
Peter: look I'm sorry something came up.
Michelle: your sorry look I'm captain and we're friends and you don't turn up for practice it makes me look like your only here because we're friends you promised me you would be committed to this team.
Peter: look I am and I'm sorry let me make up to you I'll take you to a movie and dinner how does that sound.
Michelle: like a date you just described a cliche date.
Peter: can't two friends go to a movie and eat dinner because Ned and I will seriously need to talk.
MJ laughs
peter: you laughed that's a win I'm off the hook."
Later on at dinner
Michelle: so where did you go
peter: it doesn't matter where I went.
Michelle: it does to a captain when a great member of there team doesn't turn up for practice.
Peter: look I had an emergency.
Michelle: what kind of an emergency did you have.
Peter:my aunt fell down the stairs of our apartment building.
Michelle: oh my God is she alright.
Peter: yeah she only sprained her ankle so I was checking in on her.
Michelle: you should have just said something this afternoon.
Peter: I felt bad I promised you I wouldn't miss practice or any Competitions I didn't want to let you down.
Michelle: your so sweet.
Peter: that means a lot coming from you Michelle.
Michelle: when you love avenger so much. There's this documentary at the cinema about the avengers.
Peter: how did I not know this.
Michelle: yeah its about how the avengers formed which hero's are in it.
Peter: we should go watch it.
Michelle: you work for iron man so you must know is Spiderman and avenger because he helped them out before or was it a one time thing.
Peter: I've spoke to stark about this he's an Honorary avenger. When they need him he's there but he wanted to protect the neighbourhood.
Michelle: we better getting going if we want to make it.
During the movie peter slowly puts him arm around Michelle and she leans into him she looks up at him and smiles.
After the movie peter walks mJ home holding hands. When he arrives at her door he kisses her softly in the moment
Peter: good night Michelle.
Michelle: good night peter.
Peter walks home the next morning.
MJ stops by peters apartment and May opens the door.
MJ: hey May how's your ankle.
May: what?
MJ: you fell and sprained your ankle yesterday that's what peter said.
Peter: what are you doing here.
MJ: I came to see if you wanted to walk to school together but I found out you lied to me yesterday.
Peter: mJ it's not as bad as it sounds. Can we go in the hall and talk.
Peter: for real I skipped practice stark called me with a confidential emergency and I could t tell you so I lied I'm sorry you really mean a lot to me.
Michelle: okay I forgive you this time just don't lie to me just keep on a need to know basis.
Peter: I'll go get my backpack.
At school.
Ned: did you have a fun time last night.
Peter: yeah I always have fun with Michelle.
Ned: anything new between you too I mean you've been going out alone together a lot.
Peter: nope nothing new.
The bell rings for class.
Michelle: I've got to get to class. Bye
Peter: me too bye.
MJ and peter give each other a quick kiss. And walk away.
Ned: I can't be the only one who saw that
