Alexander's POV

First day of college...
I sat awkwardly on the shaky bus. I look around at everyone around me on the bus sigh. I see Burr sat a few rows in front of me. No one else here I recognise. Outside the windows were just slowly passing trees. God damn, buses go so fu-

"Hamilton, shut the hell up or I will shoot you!"

I look in front of me to see a pissed off Burr looking behind, at me. I realised I had been narrating my life aloud...

"S-sorry"

"Talk less. Smile more."

He turned back around to face in front of him. I could already tell this was going to be a long day...

I looked up at the massive building in front of me and gulped. My phone vibrates in my pocket and I see a message.

LargeBaguette: Oui oui mon ami
A. Ham: Excuse me, Laf?
LargeBaguette: I'm almost there, how far are you?
A. Ham: There...
LargeBaguette: Right, see you there then Lex
A. Ham: see you...

I look up from my phone before being immediately pushed down to the floor.
"The h-hell?" I asked reopening my eyes seeing Peggy above me.

"And Peggy!" She shouted in response.
"Also sorry Lex,"

She got up herself then helped me up. Not far behind her was Angelica and Eliza walking up looking disappointed in Peggy.

"Peg, you really need to calm yourself down..." Angelica scolded.

"I know... sorry..." Peggy looked down tugging at the bottom of her bright shirt. Her bag was also bright. It could probably blind a pilot on a bright enough day.

"Hey Gay lion" I heard a very familiar voice.

"Hey Gay turtle" I replied, half attempting to hug him back. He laughed and let go.
"Do you guys know your dorms yet?"

"Nope," Peggy quickly said, still excited. "We're just waiting for... Laf... Herc... and thats it?"

As if on cue, Lafayette and Hercules walked up to them.

"Hey guys," Lafayette waved.

"K LETS GO!!!" John shouted, grabbing my hand and running into the building. I stumbled and looked behind, seeing all our friends laughing and following us. John stopped at the desk and let go of my hand.

"Name?" The lady groaned, obviously not enjoying her job.

"Yoimjohnlaurens,"

"Pardon?"

I walked closer to him.

"He's John Laurens, and I'm Alexander Hamilton,"

"Mhm... John Laurens... Alexander Hamilton..." She muttered flicking through files.

"Here," She grumbled pushing two pieces of laminated paper towards us. I took it and walked away, rolling my eyes. I looked at the two laminated papers, one had my name at the top and the other had Johns. I gave John the paper with his name on and waited for the others.

Dorm: 1776

I looked at Johns' paper.

John Laurens
Dorm: 1776

"John, we have the same dorm!"

He paused, he looked down at the paper in my hand and started jumping up and down with his arms around my neck.

"WE'RE IN THE SAME DORM!!!"

Lafayette and Hercules walked over while Angelica, Eliza and Peggy were still at the desk and Angelica seemed to be having an argument.

"Laf what's your dorm?"

He takes his laminated paper out of his pocket and hands it to me.

"Laf! Me you and John are in the same dorm!!"

"Yeah..." He muttered in response.

"Whats up?"

"They wrote my name wrong... They put Lafayette not La Fayette"

I sighed and shook my head smiling.

"Laf let it go,"

He pouted like a little child which made me laugh and he stayed quiet. Mulligan looked excited looking at his piece of paper.

"1776," he said looking at us. Soon all 4 of us were jumping up and down in excitement that we were all sharing a dorm. After a short time Angelica walked over in defeat with Eliza and Peggy behind her.

"What happened with you three?" I asked.

"They wont let us share a dorm as a three, we're all in the same dorm but we have to share it with someone else..." Angelica looked down.

I walked over and hugged her in attempt to comfort her.

"Maybe they'll be nice?"

"Maybe..."

I stepped away and tuned back to Lafayette, Mulligan and Laurens who still looked excited. Eliza stepped forward.

"I'm assuming you four are in the same dorm?" She smiled.

We nodded in union and got excited again.

"We should probably go to our dorms... And see who we've been forced with..." Angelica said, looking at her sisters at the last part. We quickly ran to where our dorm was and opened the door, running in.

There was a sofa in front of a TV and two doors on opposite sides of the room leading into a bedroom. Me and John claimed the one on the right and Lafayette and Hercules claimed the one on the left. Me and John walked into our room and I threw my bag on the bed on the right side of the room. John pouted.

"But I wanted that bed"

"So did I, and I'm here now," I said, moving the bag off my bed and lying down on it. After not long John jumped on top of me and stared down at me.

"Off,"

"No," I stayed stubborn. He pouted again and got off me, walking over to the other bed. I got out my phone and texted Lafayette.

A. Ham: Hey Laf
LargeBaguette: Mon Ami, we're practically in the same room. If you wanted something then you could've walked to me
A. Ham: yeah but I'm comfortable. And if I leave John will likely steal my bed
LargeBaguette: well rip your bed I guess
A. Ham: No! My bed!!
