The usually quiet, village sound of cars and wind blowing through trees rung in your ears. It was freezing out but that wasn't the reason you were shivering.
You felt your hands shaking and tears forming. You were scared but also calm.
He looked deep into your sky blue eyes, took a deep breath, and continued to speak but in a raised voice; as though he wanted everyone in the world to hear him.
"...No one makes me feel like this except you. Without you I feel nothing. You are everything to me, Kyung Ji."
You stand motionless, breathing heavily, your eyes transfixed on this person.
You remember everything you ever said to him.
Everything he never said to you.
All the heartache that led up to that moment disappeared. Automatically you forgave him for every time he made you cry, and every time he made you angry.
You thought about how - without realising it - every lyric you wrote, alone and tearful, at 2am when you should've been asleep... was so clearly always about him.
And how all of a sudden, nothing else... nothing else mattered anymore, except this one moment.
