I was silent for the first part of the coach journey. I sat in between Seok Jin and Taehyung, and they were trying to get me to tell them what had happened, as I was clearly distressed.
"What's wrong Kyung Ji? Is something bothering you?" Tae questioned.
"Uhh, I'm OK, thankyou." I smiled weakly.
"You don't look OK. Can you tell us what's happened?" Jin joined the conversation. They both looked genuinely concerned, so I reluctantly decided to admit what happened.
"OK fine, I'll tell you guys. But first, please promise me you won't tell Hoseok."
"We promise!" They both replied in unison.
"OK, well, when we were walking to the coach, Hoseok... well, he- he tried to kiss me." I felt my face go red. It was embarrassing to say.
"Oh my god!" Tae gasped, covering his mouth with his hand.
"Really?! So did you kiss him back?!" Jin yelled.
"Keep your voice down!" I clamped my hand over his mouth.
"Oh yeah, sorry." He said, muffled by my hand. I removed it from his face and sat back down properly.
"And no, I didn't kiss him back." I stared at the seat in front.
"What? Why?" Tae inquired, surprised.
"Well... I don't really know how to explain it. I just felt like there was something holding me back, but I just can't figure out what."
"We'll help you figure it out!" He said excitedly.
"How?"
"We'll ask you some questions. First question... let's start with... ah! Do you not like kissing?" Jin piped up.
"What?! No! Kissing is OK."
"Errr... do you not like Hoseok?" Taehyung started.
"No, it's not that. I do like Hoseok." I sighed. I was getting frustrated that I couldn't figure out why I rejected him.
"Well, there can only really be one reason then." Jin said.
"What is it?" Tae stared at him curiously.
Jin looked at me with a serious look. "Kyung Ji, do you like someone else?"
I froze. "No!" I didn't properly like anyone else. I liked Hoseok... didn't I?
Well that's what I had thought, up until that moment, when I realised... I didn't. Not anymore.
"Are you sure?" Jin queried, looking deep into my eyes and trying to read my mind or something.
"No, I don't think I like anyone else."
"You totally do! You have a crush on someone! It's obvious." Taetae teased. He poked me lightly as banter, and I giggled, poking him back.
Then soon enough, Jin joined in too, and we had a massive tickling and poking fight. We were in heaps of laughter, until we calmed down and caught our breath.
"Back onto the subject, I don't think I have a crush on someone. But I feel like I fancy someone. I'm just not sure who. It's like I have a faint silhouette of a man in my head, and he is pulling me towards him, and pushing me away from liking other boys. Ever since the night I was followed, It's been like that."
"OK, Kyung Ji, whatever you say." Jin winked mischievously. I giggled, and me and the boys laughed and talked the whole rest of the way.
I definitely felt like I had got something off my chest. It was nice to have some good friends to talk to.
