Every step resounded in your head as you trudged through the university. The tears threatening to spill even more from your eyes finally broke free once again as you quickened your pace toward the restrooms. You tore the door open with so much ferocity that it may have become unhinged, and you whipped around and locked the door behind you. You collapsed on the tiled floor with a cry and continued to weep.

The early spring air whistled as you rushed into the school, carefully clutching the freshly frosted pastries you baked early this morning. You stopped abruptly, eyes widening as you recognize the head of dusty red. The necklace you saved up to buy him, still hanging from his neck. His creamy skin marked with dark purple bruises. Your fingers loosening as the couple deepens their kiss. The cupcakes fell from your hands with a harsh thud, and the couple jumping apart.
"Jia, baby, wait!"
Tears brimmed in your eyes, as you turned and sprinted to the nearest stairwell. You could hear his voice softly calling out to you but you ignored it. No footsteps came running after you, and you kept running.

Your soft sobs lodged in your throat as the scene played again and again in your head. The soft smirk placed on the girl's perfectly rouged lips as she looked at you. Soohyung making no move to chase after you made you cry even harder. Sobs echoed across the empty restroom as you locked your knees into a tighter embrace.
