It was Saturday in the morning. My family and I just got our new pool setup. It's 18 feet by 54 inches. My brother and I went on as soon as it got filled up, but it took about 12 hours so we couldn't go in until the next day. I begged and begged my parents if I could have a pool party with my friends. They said "maybe Danielle. We have to see." Okay." I said gladly.
On Tuesday morning while we were eating breakfast they said I can have a pool party on Wednesday which was the next day. Later on after 12pm, I texted 9 of my closest friends to ask if they could come over. "Hey guys! I'm having a pool party tomorrow and your invited. Hoping you can come. See you there!" I texted to them. All but one came since they were doing something else that day. "It's fine Genette. You can come over another day. " I texted back to her.
We went to the supermarket to get chips, a slushy maker, popcorn, and ice cream. "Mom?!" I called.
"Yeah Danny?, she questioned.
"Can we please get this beverage holder and cooler in one?" My mom said yes so we bought that too. It was really cool. It just floated in the water and whenever we wanted to drink something we just got a drink sipped and put it in the cup holder.
When we got back home, we put out some chairs to sit on, some extra towels, sunscreen, and water balloons. The girls were coming over at around 12pm till about 5pm or 6pm the next day. After I made sure everything was ready, I just went in the pool with my brother again. We splashed and played for about an hour. "This is so much fun!", my 6-year old brother exclaimed, "Danny, any chance maybe I can come in when your friends are here!? I won't bother you guys. I promise. Pinky swear."
I replied to him, "Oooh, you are so adorable! How could I say no!"
After we got out of the pool, we took a shower, ate dinner, and went to sleep.
It's going to be a ton of fun tomorrow and we need to be active.
