The Pool Party

The Fun Begins Now

On Wednesday, I woke up at 7am. I usually wake up at 10 or 11 but wanted to make sure that nothing goes wrong. I checked the weather on my phone right away. "Yes, sunny the whole time! It's 89° F. Boo-yeah! Thank you Mother Nature!" I got out of bed and made it. My room was a bit messy so I cleaned it up.

Then I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I didn't wash my hair because that was gonna get wet anyway and I would have to wash it again. Then a half an hour later I went to the kitchen to bring everything outside. It was now 8:00am.

My mom awoke and this is what she said when she said me all dressed up, my room clean, and getting everything ready, "I need to invite your friends over everyday!"

"Haha, you really should!" I said agreeing.

"Okay, take the pool cover off the pool so the sun can get to it. Then take the chairs outside and set them up. "My mom said.

"Sure, and I'll also check if there's anything like leaves or bugs in the pool." I replied. Before I was outside someone texted me. It was Jaclyn. She asked me what my address what. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell them my address", I thought. I texted them all my address and went back to work.

I brought out the chairs and set them up around the table. I took the pool cover off and felt the pool water. It was really hot at the top then freezing cold on the bottom. There were a few leaves in the pool so I took them out. While I was doing that I heard a buzzing noise and saw a bee right next to me. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!! GET AWAY! GET AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" After running around my house three times and falling on the grass, I went back to work.

"What happened???? I heard a ton of screaming." My mom said.

"Oh, nothing, just a fricken large bee chasing me!!!!!!" I said exhausted.

"Okay, honey." My mom said laughing.

Then I went back to taking the leaves out. I took out the boogie board, noodle, floaty cup holder, and a volleyball and net. My brother came with the "you know what I want" face and a smirk. "So how about what you told me yesterday? Huh huh. That you'll let me come in with you guys? You promised. And-and you my bih sishta." He said with the puppy eyes. "Actually, I have a better idea." My dad said. "We are going to the Lego Store!"

"Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm so going. As girls say, tots yaasss! Sorry Danny, maybe tomorrow????? Hug to make you feel better?" My brother said so adorably. "Yes, tots yaasss!" I exclaimed. We hugged and he went to get changed out of his pajamas. In 1 hour the girls were coming and everything was set up so time to relax.
