Chapter 10: Marking

Our lips connected once again and I felt a tree against my back as Jax deepened our kiss. My arms go around his neck and he pulls me closer eliminating any space left between us. He then starts to kiss my neck, I turn my head to give him more access as he looks for my sweet spot to mark me. When he finally finds it he looks up to me, "Are you sure you want this?" He asks. "Yes, please. Make me yours forever," I say ready to take on the world with my mate. He smirks, his canines coming out as he sinks them into my flesh. I bite my lip holding in a small scream of pain until it turns into pure pleaser. He releases his canines kissing the mark. He looks to me and I get lost in those emerald green eyes that match mine. He kisses me gently as if I'm going to break.

I kiss down his neck until I find his sweet spot easily. He nods to me and my canines sink into his flesh. I release them and lick his mark then moving up to kiss him. He deepens our kiss his arms tightening around me as if I'm going to slip away. I remember the world around me and I reluctantly pull away from the kiss. "As much as I don't want to we need to stop, my parents don't know that I'm out right now and they might be wondering where I am," I say. "Call them," He says simply. I grab my phone out of my back pocket dialing my mom. "Hello, sweetheart. I'll be home soon, your dad too." my mom answers. "Actually I'm going out tonight," I respond nervously. "With who?" She asks. I look at Jax with my eyebrow raised. "Boyfriend, princess." He says smirking. "My boyfriend, Jax," I say trying to sound casual. "BOYFRIEND!?" She yells through the phone. I whimper moving the phone away from my ears. Jax growls and is by me in seconds, cradling me in his arms in the tightest hug. He takes the phone from me and answers my mom. "Do you mind if I barrow Feo tonight Mrs. Green?" He asks holding back from snapping at her since she hurt me. "Uhmm, no not at all Jax." She says. "I'll see you later, Feo. Love you, bye!" She adds hanging up.

"Are you okay?" He asks. "I'm fine, she's just loud, very loud." I laugh. "Good, do you what to go on a real date now?" He asks me, making me get lost in his eyes once again. "As cheesy as it sounds, I'm okay as long as I'm with you," I say giving him what was meant to be a quick peck but Jax had other ideas. Jax pulled me to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck once again as he deepens the kiss. We continue what we started before reality interrupted us. I wrap my legs around his waist, getting impossibly closer to him. He pulls away and rests his forehead against mine. "The moon goddess blessed me with an amazing mate," He says making a smile rise to my face.

Jax took me out to a local diner that has amazing food. I didn't really mind though because I had a great time with him and that's what matters. "Do you wanna go to see a movie at the beach, I heard they were playing it at the back of the old abandoned building?" He asks as we walk along the forest line, about to shift. "I've always wanted to do that," I say giggling. "Well here's your chance," he says. "Let's go!" I say going behind a tree and at lightning speed, I'm undressed and shifted with my clothes in my mouth. Thankfully Jax wasn't one of those boys who tried to see me undress. I had a lot of experience with that over the years, boys and their hormones, jez! I came out from behind the tree and Jax was ready to go.

We ran, the wind smacking against my face making me want to run forever. Before I knew it we were at the end of the forest a mile or two from the beach. I shifted back behind a tree putting my clothes on and walking out of the forest waiting for Jax. He came out of the forest and we raced each other to the shore of the beach. We were walking on the beach waiting for the movie to start when a group of boys around our age, probably went to our school, walked along the beach. I don't think they were werewolves but who knows, I couldn't smell them from here.

"Are they werewolves?" I ask Jax cause I think he has a better sense of smell than me. "Yeah, as far as I can tell," he responds. I look back and catch them checking me out, umm can't they tell Jax is right here, I guess they can't see my mark. They walk up to us, aha they are werewolves! "Hey, girl what's up?" one of the boys says, hitting on me, I guess. Jax growls pulling me close to him. "Don't talk to her like that!" He growls. "Jax, Jax, Jax... YOU'RE not the alpha of Black Moon pack, I don't take orders from you." the guy says, I finally recognize him. "You're not either, Wyatt! So back the hell up if you want to go home in one piece!" I say to him. "Oh, little miss fierce over here," he says laughing. I growl, pulling my hand away from Jax's grip and stepping up to Wyatt. "I said, back. the. hell. up." I say to him simply. He backed up a bit but not enough, I let Jax take over and stand behind him. We're both very hotheaded. "Man, why are the hot ones always brats." He complains, that one set Jax off. "Don't call my mate hot, ever!" he growls and we go over to watch the movie.

"Wyatts such a jerk, why couldn't he just have left me alone?" I say as we sit down. "What do you mean ' left you alone?'"he asks, confusion visible in his eyes. "Umm, before I got bitten, all the way back in junior year, he and I dated for five months..." I say a bit nervous he'll get mad. "It was like a summer fling, I never really liked him," I confessed. "He was different back then, I don't know what happened but something changed," he says. "Anyway, he started bugging me in the begging of senior year, this year. I haven't talked to him since I got bitten." I say ending the conversation. I sit between Jax's legs with our hand intertwined as we watch the movie.

A/N: The picture at the top is Jax, I couldn't find one with green eyes that I liked so just use your imagination! Not much to say but I should have the next chapter up hopefully by Sunday.
