$Stella's POV$

There goes my chance of enjoying the trip. As soon as Ryder told me to pick up his bag as well as mine, I knew he had planned a shit load to take his revenge. And this was just the beginning. I don’t know how I will survive for 5 days in this forest with Ryder. Well I just hope I come out of this forest alive. When I came to know where we were, I was kinda getting a bad vibe because we were in the East Avon Forest. And it is said that all the wild animals that anyone knows dwell in this forest, even wolfs!

We had just walked for only 10 minutes now, and I was sweating already. But you can’t blame me. Walking is the least thing I can do when I have a gorilla sized backpack on my poor shoulders. That asshole didn’t even bother to look at me for once. Whether I am tired or not. He just went on walking and walking. Bloody moron. I was almost about to fall down a branch when Dylan held me. “Be careful babe.” Even though he tried to flirt and called me babe, at least he came to help me. Unlike that jerk.

“I am fine. It’s just that the bag is too heavy. God knows what he stuffed in this.” I muttered the last line under my breath. But werewolves have good listening skills so everyone had heard me. Dylan and Ryan just laughed while Ryder gave me a look. I raised an eyebrow at Ryder who said, “I brought bricks in it. So that I can feed you with em.” With that he started walking again. Can this guy freaking take a break? Wait. He wouldn’t even know the meaning of a break.

Dylan just sighed and opened his backpack. “Here drink some water. It’ll help.” He said handing me a water bottle. I raised an eyebrow at him. He looked at me confused and said “What?” “Are you sure that’s water?” I asked him pointing to the bottle in his hand. He made that you-got-to-be-kidding-me look. “Seriously? You can at least trust me for this Stella.” I just folded my arms across my chest and asked him, “Why shall I?” The question made him think. His mouth was opening and closing like a fish. “Don’t have an answer ay?” I said after a few minutes. He just ran a hand through his hand. I swear I really don’t understand why boys run their hands through their hair! But some look hot when they do that. I just said some not all and definitely not Dylan.

He sighed and spoke up. “Look I don’t know how to prove you that its water. Just trust me, kay?” He said it with so much truth that I couldn’t help myself but trust him. I hope I am not making a wrong decision by trusting him. I just smiled at him and said, “I guess I’ll give you a chance. Just one though. Pass me the bottle.” On hearing this his face lit up like a Cheshire cat and he quickly passed me the bottle. I took the bottle and gulped some water. Looks like I was quite thirsty. By the time I was done I had finished half the bottle. When I handed it back to Dylan he just looked at the now half-filled water bottle like it was his life. “Sorry Dylan and thanks.” I said with a sheepish smile and put on my best innocent face. No one can ever resist it. He just looked at my face and said, “It’s okay.” I just gave him a bright smile and we both started to walk again.

Ryder and Ryan were far ahead of us. We had to increase our speed to catch up with them. It was like mission impossible for me due to some jerk’s heavy ass bag. I stopped midway and sat down near a tree. Dylan noticed me and came to me. “You alright?” he asked. “You think?” I asked him with a pointed look. He realized that it was a wrong question to ask so he just shrugged. I was just catching my breath when he suddenly leaned closer to me. I was scared like shit at what he was about to do. We were all alone in the forest. And that jerk and Ryan were also not in sight. “What the hell are you trying to do Dylan?” I yelled at him with fright.

When he didn’t reply to me, I tried to push him away. But he didn’t even budge. “Hey don’t move. Stay where you are.” He whisper-yelled at me. He was too damn close and I was completely paralyzed with fright. I didn’t know what to do. I just stared at him wide eyed as he came close to me and…… pulled a snake from behind me? I was very confused and scared. I was shaking with fright as I saw Dylan throwing the snake far away from us. “It didn’t bite you right?” He asked me searching my hands for any bite marks. “Huh? N… No….” I said.
