Chapter 6

After school, I was ready to go home when Jimin grabbed my arm and told Minho and I to follow her. She seemed excited.

"Where on earth are we going Jimin?" I asked as she dragged me towards the field.

"You won't believe who joined the lacrosse team!" She exclaimed.

I really didn't believe it. There on the court was Key playing a decent game of lacrosse and I could tell he was really good at it.

Minho sat next to Jimin and looked at her face, I guess he was being creepy and determining why she liked sports. She was on the cheerleading team after all.

Key seemed different, he never played sports before. He changed his look, became a lacrosse player, what other surprises did he have.
Another guy on the court was the annoying Ren.

Let me tell you something. I have never had trouble because I never went to watch sports.

I'm actually a very isolated girl and I don't like spending much time at after school activities.

Taemin, Onew and Minho didn't know that and if they weren't with me, I'd be at home doing my homework.

I have never watched Ren play before but by the looks of it, he was pretty good.

The game finished and Jimin cheered and so did Minho which was weird because he wasn't a cheerleader.

"You're embarrassing me!" I whispered enough for him to hear.

"So this is not  how you behave once a game is won?" He asked.

"You can just clap, you don't have to go all out cheerleader type!" I said clapping my hands.

"Sun-hee, when did you get here?" Key asked.

I bit my lip approached him. I stood a few meters away from him and looked into his eyes.

"Sun-hee!" He called as he came towards me.
I backed away and he stopped. The smile dropped  from his face as he asked me what was wrong.

"Are you okay? Is something up?" He asked.
I nodded.

"Don't come close to me, I don't want to take a shower today and you're sweaty!" I said giggling.

Key laughed and nodded his head. "Then you're not mad that I didn't tell you that I was joining  the team?"He asked.

"Not at all, I never knew this side of you but you've certainly given me a reason to watch the game!" I said as Jimin cheered again. She was more excited than I was.

This was really Key huh! I wish he'd told me. We were best friends after all. He never kept secrets before but what happened now? I was confused but no I was not mad, I just wish he had told me. You don't keep secrets from your friends. You never do.

"What are you doing here?" Ren asked stepping beside Key.

"And whats Mister Freakish's deal?" He added.

"Ren, I find you highly insulting and if you prefer me to respect you, you must first respect my cousin here". Is what I wanted to say but I didn't say anything.

"Ren, Stop it!" Jimin said.

"No, you don't have to tell him to stop, people like him never give up terrorizing others, they think just because they are rich, they own the world, what they don't see it that ...." I began.

"Are you talking back to me again?" Ren asked rage in his voice.

"Why shouldn't I? What's so good about you? Is it that you're rich? Is it that you play sports or that you've got people whom you can treat like trash? Why should I not treat you any different?" I asked walking towards him.
