Chapter 22

"What happened to you?" I asked Minho as I brought a towel and dried his hair with it.

Taemin, Onew and Key were in the guest room trying to talk about the "them". I didn't want to be in on any of it.

"What do you mean?" He asked smiling warmly at me.

"I mean that smile? You're looking creepy!" I said as Minho's smile dropped.

"I don't look creepy!" He said as I muffled his complains by rubbing the towel vigorously on his head.

"Okay, it's dry now! Ah! Stop and I'll tell you!" Minho said.

I took the towel off as he stared at me. He was already in dry clothes and he was looking at me.

"I'll make us hot chocolate and you tell me what's on your mind Charisma boy!" I said sarcastically.

"You think I have Charisma too! I knew it!" Minho got up and held my hand on his.

"Sun-hee, you'll need to sit to hear me out". He said.

"I'm all ears!" I called.

I was with Jimin during her cheerleading practice and she was cheering for our team. She occasionally  smiled at me with that positive smile that she always had.

After the practice, she told me that she was happy that I took interest in the game! I explained how I like lacrosse as a boy but never got to play. She told me that she loved it but she couldn't play because there was no all girls team on the playground.

After practice, I got into my car and offered to drive her home. She asked about you but I told her that you guys decided to take the bus.

"Then we are lucky, aren't we?" She claimed smiling shyly and she got in.

"I like your outfit!" I said.

"Really? I like your shirt too!" She added.

I leaned in and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

She blushed and I could see her red cheeks. I drove on as she put her seatbelt on.

We stopped near an ice-cream shop and I offered to buy her ice-cream.

We realized we both like chocolate ice-cream and like lacrosse and each other's company.

"We have So much in common, don't you agree?" She asked.

"We also have another thing, we really like each other!" I replied in my charismatic mood.
She blinked and looked at me curiously.

"I mean I like you..... if you don't....." I began out didn't finish as a seagul came out of nowhere and scared me and I dropped my ice-cream. Jimin was laughing and I was eating myself up for being such a coward but she shared her ice-cream with me.

After that we got into the car and I drove her home.

She got off and ran to her house as it had started to pour.

"Won't you come in, I'm sure Dad will love to see my new friend!" She said but I refused saying that I wanted to be home.

"The answer! To your confession earlier on, I do like you, very much indeed!" Jimin replied turning to me.

I couldn't believe my eyes and I went up to her and held her hand in mine. I don't know what came over me that time but I couldn't hold it on anymore. I was even scared of my own found confidence.
