Jungkook's POV

I arrived at Seoul on Wednesday's noon  after a short flight and took a taxi back home. Surprisingly the door was locked and no one was inside. I called for Yoongi, thinking that he might be asleep but he was nowhere to be found.

Odd because if I remembered correctly he had 'the good shifts' on Wednesdays, meaning he worked from 4:00 pm till midnight. I thought that he would wait for my return so I imagined that he might had gone out shopping. But after one hour passed and Yoongi wouldn't show up I started worrying. So I went and knocked on Jimin's door. He opened it after a few seconds and he was delighted to see me.

"Jungkook!" He said and hugged me. I gave him a few pats on the back and pulled away.

"Hey Jimin".

"How was your trip? How was Jeju Island?"

"It was good, listen!" I said not willing to go into detail about my trip at that moment.

"Yes?"

"Have you seen Yoongi? Have you heard him leaving today? Did you talk to him?" I asked and I noticed Jimin bitting his lip.

"Um, no why?"

"Well... he isn't home."

"Perhaps he's working?"

"He has the afternoon shift today!"

"Perhaps he changed?"

"Oh you might be right... wait I'll call him." Yoongi didn't pick up his phone though. "Did something happen while I was away? Was he in the apartment?" I said and put my phone back inside my pocket.

"Yes, to be honest I thought he never left. I saw him on Sunday but after that he gave me the idea that he was locked inside your flat, I never heard him leaving." Jimin explained.

"I see... anyways thank you!"

"You're welcome" he said nervously. I expected him to invite me in but he didn't.

"I'll get going" I faked a smile and went inside the apartment.

Since Yoongi wouldn't call me back I dialed again, without realizing it, every half hour. He wouldn't pick up his phone. The time was 6:00 pm and even if the shifts had changed he would be back by now. I couldn't think of a place he could have gone... he didn't have many friends in Seoul, I don't think he had any friends in Seoul. And then an idea popped up.

Taehyung!

I dialed him and waited. Tae picked up the phone almost immediately.

"Jungkook! It's been a while!

"Hi Tae! Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead!"

"Have you seen Yoongi? Have talked to him recently?" I asked.

"No, last time I saw him was a week ago when he came over!" Tae explained.

"You came to Seoul and you didn't tell me a thing?" I asked mishearing his reply.

"No Jungkook, Yoongi came over!"

"What? Really?" In Daegu? I was shocked! When had Yoongi gone to Daegu without me noticing?

"Why? Is everything alright? Did you guys fight again?"

"No no we didn't fight, I just can't find him!" I explained still a bit confused.

"Did you ask on the coffee shop he works?"

"No I didn't but-"

"Don't you think you should?"

"Yeah I guess I'll call them, but I'm starting to worry... my neighbor-"

"Oh my renter!" Tae interrupted me.

"Yes your rented, hasn't seen him for two days, nor heard him leaving so where the hell can he be?"

"Don't know Jungkook, perhaps you should call-"

"The police? Yeah I thought about it. I might as well do it if he doesn't come back for the night!" We talked quickly interrupting each other, sign that we were both upset.

"Oh god yes you should!" Tae sounded worried. "But first call the guys in the coffee shop okay?"

"Yes Tae, thank you" I said in a reassuring tone.

"Bye Jungkook!"

"Bye" I muttered and hang up.

I did an attempt to call Yoongi again but of course he didn't pick up. So I googled Allegria's name and after I found their phone number I dialed them.

"Coffee Shop Allegria how may I help you?" A masculine rough voice asked from the other end.

"Yes hi, I'm sorry, I am not willing to place an order. I called to ask you whether you've heard anything about a friend of mine, Min Yoongi?" I asked nervously.

"Oh... yes I haven't seen him for the pat two days, he's taken a sickie!"

"Pardon?" I asked confused.

"A sick leave! He hasn't showed up for the past two days". The man explain slightly irritated.

"I see... okay thank you for your time!" I said.

I spent the next four hours trying to forget about it, but still calling him every now and then. I had started to believe that he had found out about me and Jimin. There was no other explanation so I left him a voice message.

"Hey Yoongi... it's me Jungkook. You don't seem to be willing to pick up your phone so I'll leave you a message. I don't know why you're not returning my calls or where you are. Perhaps I shouldn't worry... but I do. If you're angry at me for... you know what happened with Jimin, come home and we'll talk about it. If that's not the case... then oops. I guess I just turned myself in. *giggle* anyways. I hope you're not dead or something. I'm a bit worried, so I might end up calling the police."

Who was I kidding? It was already midnight and Yoongi had disappeared. I took a beer from the fridge and made myself comfortable on the couch. I couldn't sleep, I was worried as hell. I decided to stay awake all night. If he was alright he would definitely come back home... most of his stuff were still here.

I spent three awfully long hours sitting on the couch making scenarios with my head of what could have happened to him. But finally around 3:00am I heard the familiar sound of his keys on the door and jumped up. Yoongi walked inside and I sighed relieved.

"Yoongi!" I said happily. "Where the hell have you been I was worried sick about you!" I said, my voice shaking.

Yoongi threw his bag to the floor and raised his head to look at me. He scared me, I could see his eyes burning under the soft light of a lamp we had next to the couch.

"I cared too much?" He asked me and I felt my legs giving up.
