High School Story

The Party

"Gaby broke up with me. For real!" Benny says. "She hated how I always showed my friends pictures of her. She wanted privacy. I was like, 'I'll give ya privacy.' but she was like, 'NOPE!'"

"That sucks." Julian says in sympathy.

"And get this: she's dating that new Chinese actor, Jin!" Benny looks like he might cry.

"Wait, we got MORE newbies?" I ask.

"Yep, just today. Jin and some other guy."

"But if Jin is new, how can Gaby be dating him?"

"I dunno..."

I met up with Dana, Maria and Ella after art class. Maria and Ella seemed to be Dana's best friends.

"Man, wasn't that Picasso lesson crazy today?" Ella asks.

"I know, right? How could Taylor fit all that info on Picasso onto one side of a post it note?" Maria says.

"Everyone was cheering him on. I don't think he liked the attention, though..." I say.

"Oh, yeah, he didn't like it. He ran away afterwards. It's cause he's a wallflower. Once after karaoke with Payton, he drove all the way across town to the lighthouse! Just because we complimented him!" Dana says.

"Wow."

"Anyway, I need to but a new outfit after school. Something... preppy!" Ella said.

"But your a nerd, not a prep." I point out. "You could borrow my yellow skirt tomorrow..."

"The one you're wearing? YES PLEASE!"

"Well, ok."

Just then, Payton runs up to us, waving some little cards.

"Heya! Who wants to come to my party?"

"Oh, I'm always up for a party! But is it on Sunday, cause I'm helping Autumn that day..." Dana mentions.

"No, it's on Saturday."

"Great! Gimme that invite!"

"Can I come?" Maria asks.

"Me too?" Ella asks.

"I dunno, I'm kinda shy... wait! Who else will be there?" I said. Maybe Benny will be going, too!

"Everyone, pretty much!" Payton says. "See ya there! Saturday!" Payton runs off.

Later at my hangout, I ask the guys if they're going to the party.

"Of course!" Julian says.

"I dunno, since I just broke up..." Benny hesitates.

"YOU GOTTA COME! PAYTON IS EXPECTING YOU!" I exclaim.

"Well, ok, sure, I guess."😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

"Great!"

"Hey, Misty-Sue?"

"Yeah?"

"Wanna hang out sometime?"

OMGOMGOMG!!!😱😱😱😱

"IcfudxjdydkctddtauduajsyjccwwhidbzolgnvcbbcsfhdgSURE!" I mumble. I'm too nervous!!!

"How bout Monday?"

"Shshshshsure!!!"

"Well, ok. Gotta run!"

The party. The crazy crazy party. I can't believe what I did tonight. I will be the laughing stock of the school on Monday. AHHHHH!!!!!

I wore my best blouse and tan pants. I may be a dancer now, but I hate hate HATE skirts. I also wore a hair band, but this one was blue paisley. Ella wore my skirt (Which is the only skirt I'm willing to wear) and a band tee. Dana wore her mint dress. And Maria wore a sparkly dress and a sparkly hair band.

We arrived at Payton's house. The party was pretty normal at first. Dancing. Food. New kids that might join our school. But then the worst thing EVER happened!!!

Abbi, Gaby's BFF and fellow cheerleader, called everyone for a 'game'. I though it would be something I usually play at parties, like Truth or Dare. But NOOOOO. She (and almost everyone else) wanted to play... dun dun duuuuun... spin the bottle. I was practically forced to play.

"Rule 1," Abbi says. "is that you MUST kiss the person chosen. Even if your a girl and it lands on a girl. Rule 2 is that you have to play, or you will become a social outcast. And yes, I can make that happen. LETS PLAY!!!"

First up: Dana and Julian! They kiss. It was quick, but I can tell they liked it.

Next, Abbi and Dave! Abbi is 'ewwww'ing and Dave looks like he just met Katy Perry.

Soon, it's my turn. I take the Coke bottle and spin. OMGOMGOMGOMG!!! It lands on... no, not Benny, not Jin, not a boy... it lands on... GABY.

"NO, NO WAY AM I KISSING HER!"

Gaby shouts.

"You have to. Remember? If ya don't.... SOCIAL OUTCAST!!!!!" Abbi cackles.

"Oh crap. Here goes nothing..."

Her lips meet mine. Only for a millisecond. She quickly pulls away.

"GAY! YOU GUYS ARE GAY!" someone shouts. Then everyone starts laughing. Abbi (the ass) is taking pictures. Julian isn't laughing. Neither are Payton, Dana, Maria, Ella, Benny and that other new guy. Julian gets up from his spot on the couch, walks over to Abbi (the ass), and slaps her!

"Hey! Stop!" Abbi squeals.

Payton and Dana pull Julian away. But Julian keeps on trying to slap Abbi. Can someone say #angerprobs?

I can't believe what I just did. God. We must have been too loud, cause the police are knocking at the door. Maybe we should leave now...😳
