Blazing sun rays managed to prise open my long lapis curtains, blinding me as they rushed to enter my room. Turning my head, trying to block out the sunlight I caught sight of the angry red letters on my alarm clock 8:50. I groaned, I couldn't be late again. Hauling my body out of bed I got ready in a daze. Taking one last glance at my messy room I sighed, mom will make me tidy it again. Honestly I dont get it if you dont like it, dont come in.
As soon as both my feet were firmly planted on the ground floor of our house the earth begins to shiver. "Stop that!" I half shout, stamping my foot down on the beige carpet. Still muttering to myself about the small earthquake I made my way into the kitchen, where I poured myself a glass of orange juice and setteled down to eat my cheerios.
Suddenly the ground started shaking violently and this time there was no stopping it. The earthquake grew and grew until finaly it had sent my breakfast sailing straight towards me, soaking me with milk and juice...Then it stopped and I was left sitting there completely drenched.
A growl escaped me. They were getting stronger by the day. And as if it couldn't get any worse, a great wall of blue came crashing through the windows which just so happen to be open. Typical!
This resulted in me looking like I just took a shower fully clothed.
Most people suspected the tremors were just earthquakes that were then affecting the water. Simple right? Although I suspected it mas a different kind if force, bigger and stronger than anything anyone had ever experienced. But im no detective so lets leave it at that.
Once I had dried off and got into some dry clothes I made my way out of the house and down the road to school.
