Unlocking Magic Circuits (Chapter 13.5)

Kiyohime was in bed, resting due to the wound she got from the bullet. Houki observed the other servants go about their daily routine. EMIYA cooked since Kiyohime was resting. Artoria ate the food, feeling some sort of nostalgia from this food. Jeanne was talking humming something as she went through the halls. Mash saw Houki and went to her.

"Miss Hokusai, how is your day?" Mash asked.

"So far good, Just watching how people are in this place," Houki answered.

"Also, Why do you call your octopus companion "Father?" Mash asked.

"Well he is my father after all," Houki answered.

"Eh?" Mash tilted her head.

"It's complicated, are you willing to hear my tale?" Houki asked.

"Sure, Go ahead," Mash nods.

"You see, I am not Hokusai, I am his daughter, Katsushika Ōi. This squid beside me is the legendary Katsushika Hokusai," She explained. "We materialized like this, I think I was able to be summoned like this because I followed in my father's footsteps,"

"So its possible to summon two servants as one," Mash thought.

(Y/N) was heading into Da Vinci's office (formerly Romans office) where an operating table was set up. Da Vinci stood there, with medical gloves on her hands. She was in her normal attire as Roman came in.

"This is your final choice, Do you want to-" Roman was interrupted

"Yes, Continue with this doctor," (Y/N) answered immediately.

Da Vinci welcomed him into office and laid him down on an operation table and strapped him down.

"You know you don't have to do this, Kiyohime can activate them as well," He informed.

"I know, but right now she's too injured to perform the necessary actions," Da Vinci looked down.

"At least let her try, I don't want to see you force yourself to do this," Roman said concerned.

"I'll let her try, But if shes unsuccessful, I will have to do it myself," She left to find Kiyohime.

(Y/N) just watched her leave and looked at Roman, concerned and confused.

"What did she mean?" He asked.

"It's best if you don't know," Roman sighed. "Just keep your eyes closed until the experiment is done," He smiled.

"Alright, doc," (Y/N) nods.

Kiyohime was brought in, she had her face red as she was told by Da Vinci on what to do. (Y/N) closed his eyes as the process began, (Y/N) could only see darkness, nothing more than the darkness. He then saw some sort of snake coil around some sort of circular object, almost like an egg. The snake then caught fire around the egg.

"What the hell..." (Y/N) said.

In a few hours, he would wake up in his bed with bandages around his torso and arm, He had underwear on and was covered by a sheet. He wondered where he was.

"What happened?" He asked.

"The transfer was a success," Da Vinci came in.

"What happened in there?" He wondered.

"Its best if we keep it secret," She blushed and left.

Kiyohime came in, looking more healthy than before. She hugged him and smiled.

"Your magic circuits were activated by me!" She cheered.

"Hopefully we can now defeat that servant," He felt pumped.

"Also, Da Vinci told me to give you this," Kiyo smiled.

Kiyohime handed him some sort of jumpsuit, It was called the Chaldea Combat Uniform. He decided to put it on (Kiyohime was outside when he changed) and came out. He then went to roman and asked him to prepare the rayshift.

"You might want to rest, tomorrow you both should be able to fight the counterforce," Roman suggested.

"Alright then, We should summon more servants so we can try to take on the counterforce," (Y/N) looked at roman.

"Yes, We have the resources after all," Roman walks with (Y/N) to the summoning room in Chaldea.

(Y/N) Performed the summon ritual once more and watched as the summon happened. He stepped back as two servants popped out. One looked like an old man that held a cigarette in his hand. The other had a hood and a staff that looked to be made out of a tree. Both approached (Y/N).

"So you are my master, Please to meet you, My name is Merlin," The hooded figure spoke.

"So it seems I was summoned alongside another caster, My name is Zhuge Liang, also known as Lord El Melloi II," He smoked his cigarette.

Artoria walks in and immediately spots Merlin, she then walks out of the room and left to eat something in the kitchen.

A/N: Sorry for the small chapter, I decided to make this a smaller chapter due to next chapter being all about the F/Zero event. Beware, there are some spoilers associated with this event. Please, Watch Fate/Zero or at least know about it.
