Unappreciative kids

Ok, first thing I would like to start out with is kids in this day and age. I was on social media (as usual) scrolling through the news feed. I stumble upon a girl about my age but a grade lower saying "I have the worst mother and grandma ever!" Someone had commented "is it just because they don't get you things you want?" The comment got about three likes, which included mine.

So, now I shall start my complaining. She is lucky that someone will take her into their home and make sure she is safe in every possible way. She has a roof over her head, food on the table, and don't get me started on how many iPhones she has broken and got new. I'm thinking to myself. How can kids be so selfish? I'm 14 and saying this, I at least have respect for my parents. Some kids just have no sense of realization how bad it makes their parents feel because they can't get the child everything in the world. Trust me if your parents could buy you everything they would. Kids nowadays won't even bother opening a door for someone older. I was taught better, actually I opened a door for an older gentleman the other day because he was in a wheelchair. The look on his face made me so happy. I was glad I could help him. But anyway, back to the story here. The point I'm trying to get across is some kids have no sense anymore, I think sometimes parent should at least give them a good whooping. Kids won't stop acting like that if parents do not stop giving their children whatever they want, or if they keep giving them money so they can go out with friends. Kids learn a little respect, respect will take you a long way

I'm not sure if the parents need to be stricter, or the kids just need to come to realization that mommy and daddy aren't gonna be around forever. I hope you at least enjoyed some of this, I probably could of made it better but I figured I shouldn't cuss in this. I have way more opinions but I have writers block right now, plus while music plays it's hard to focus (well for me anyway.) Well anyway. Have a great day!
