Today is the table read and I'm freaking out. What if I'm not good enough. What if they hate me. All this goes on in my head as I get up and get dressed. I walk downstairs and see my dad and uncle.
"Dad I'm not ready what if they hate me what if I'm horrible" I rant. "Hey look you're going to be great" My dad said. "And they're going to love you" ross said. "Ok I guess how bad could it be I mean it's just the table read we don't start filming until next month right" I said thinking positive. "Oh about we start filming monday" My dad said. "WHAT! you said in a month, a month is not in a week" I said angrily I wasn't prepared. "I know kid but this time we will be taking breaks and we have a lot more to do so we have to start next week, but trust me you'll be great" he said giving me a hug. "Ok I trust you" I said hugging back. "Sorry to ruin this great moment but if we don't leave now we will be late" ross said. "Ok let's go" I said walking out the door.
When we go there we went through security and went into this big building. "Ok kid where almost there" My dad told me. We got off the elevator and walked through these big doors where we were met with a lot of chaos. People running, screaming. Just a whole lot. "Hey!" Ross yelled. Everybody stop. I stood behind my dad like a kid. "Jesus shawn what happened" my day said. "Have you met these kids" he said in a duh tone. "What's baby duffer" Shawn said. I met shawn we he came to our house. "Hi" I said. "Go meet the kid we have to talk about so stuff" My dad said.
I walked away to meet the kids when I was greeted by two girls I knew millie but I never met her. I knew her because my best friend maddie told me about her. "Hi I'm millie and this is Sadie" She said really cheerful. "I'm winifred but call me wini" I said a little bit nervous. "I know who you are maddie told me all about you" she said giving me a tight hug. "Jesus millie calm down" Sadie said. "I'm sorry about mills she just gets really excited sometimes" she said. "No it's fine" I said. "Come, let's go meet the rest of the cast" millie said grabbing my arm And pulling me.
"Guys come over here" millie called out. Four boys walked over. "Guys Winifred. Winifred guys" millie said introducing us. "You can call me wini" I said smiling. "Oh I know you. You played in bridge to Terabithia" a boy say just a excited as millie. "Hi I'm noah" he said sticking his hand out. "I'm gaten" another one said "I'm finn" another one said. "Guys I know who you are I watch the show" I said laughing a little bit. "Oh" they all laughed. Caleb didn't say anything. "Caleb aren't you going to say something" sadie said. He just rolled his eyes and walked about. "Ignore him lets go meet the others" Millie said pulling my arm.
"Guys this is Winifred" millie said "hi I'm Natalia" a girl said. "I'm charlie" a boy said with an accent. "I'm joe" a boy with amazing hair said. "I'm dacre" a boy with an accent said. "And I'm maya I'm new so I know how you feel. She said shaking my hand.
"Come on guys sit down time to start" ross said. "Lets go take are seats" millie said walking. "Ok everybody met Maya and Winifred right" shawn said. Every one said yea. "So let's get started" my dad said.
"So wini your character is Samantha james is the the girl that everybody notices but doesn't pay attention to. She's like the weirdo who doesn't talk and wears long sleeve in the summer" My dad explained. "OH MY GOD!" Millie scream ."What millie" my dad said . "Does that mean she has powers" millie said excited. "If you let us get to that part we will tell you" ross said. "Ok now yes wini Samantha has powers" shawn said. I smiled and looked a millie. "But she doesn't know" shawn smiled because he seen our faces drop. "What" I question. "She'll find out but not until the third or fourth episode" ross said. "Ok" I said still excited because my character has powers.
"Ok now guys lets read some"shawn said. "Wini you will have scenes with just about everything but more so eleven and max. We all squealed because we get to work together alot. "Ok now I want wini and caleb to do this scene because we are still deciding if we want this scene because it's very emotional" My dad said. "Ok so lucas is going to walk up to samatha and start to call her names the he's going to shove her and she's going use her powers and like choke him while he's in the air and this where everybody jumps in and tries to get her off him. you guys think you can handle it. Shawn said " I guess" I said as caleb walked over to me. "Ok let's get this over with" he said like he was irritated or something.
"Ok start" My dad said.
Lucus: why are you here?
Samatha: because mike said I could.
Lucas: oh so now she's in are party?
Mike: I didn't say that what's it to you anyway?
Lucas: you didn't let max in this party.
Max: But I'm in now so it's alright.
Lucas: No it's not max practically begged you to be in. But you let this freak in.
Samantha: Excuse me
Lucas: You heard me
Dustin&will: lucas stop
Lucas: No she needs to hear this
Walks up to her and shoves her
Lucas: No one wants you here you freak.
Samantha: you know what I'm tired of your shit
He shoves her again. Samantha puts her hand up and it sends lucas in the air.
"Ok guys that's enough" matt said. "That was great" Millie said "thanks" I smiled. "You're so good" Sadie said.
(Time skip)
When we got done it was around 6 pm. "You Guys want to have a sleep over. Millie asked. "Sure can we do it at my house maddie is coming over tomorrow" I said grabbing my things "sure just let me call my mom" sadie said. The boys walked over. "You're so good" finn said. "Thank you" I smiled. "Like really good" noah said. "Seriously I can't wait to work with you" gaten said. "Awe guys stop" I smiled. "And don't worry about caleb he will come around" noah said. "Wini come on" millie and said called "bye guys I said walking away with millie and sadie.
