"No Nathan"

Kelly sighed in fustration for the tenth time that day. Why was Nathan so insistent on finding this girl. A girl he'd had one interaction with, if that.

"What do you mean she was probably just passing by?" Nathan was also in his own fit of fustration but for the opposite reason, his feelings were also being directed towards Aliesha who was insistantly arguing with the mad boy.

"Its always the storm, nothing normal happens to us, we know this." Throwing his hands in the air like a demented octopus Nathan continued to make his point heard. Rolling her eyes Kelly stepped forward before someone got swung for.

"Would you shut up Nathan, if the girl comes back again we'll worry but until then stop going on about it." Nathan considered Kelly's words thoughtfully, staring her down whilst he did.

He glanced at Simon, whos eyes were huge and confused, before slowly nodding in agreement.

"Oi you lot get back to doing whatever it is you're supposed to be doing!"

Kelly had never been so happy to hear the rancid voice of their probabtion worker but she knew if they didn't have something to do the passive mood wouldn't last.

Nathan cracked his neck and jumped up at the order, grabbing a paint brush and striding outside - assumably to paint something.

Kelly didn't see that as a good sign because on the one hand Nathan was no longer harassing them about some girl they had never seen nor met but on the other it meant he was probably plotting something insane.

The others slowly but surely made their own way out of the community centre clad with their own paintbrushes. Kelly did a double take at the sight before her.

No. It wasn't ransacked, Nathan hadn't painted the word cunt across the wall but instead the constantly twitching boy was doing what he had been told.

Something wasn't right.

Pulling Curtis aside Kelly whispered harshly In his ear, "do you think somethings up with Nathan?"

"what besides the usual shit?" He laughed looking down at Kelly confused.

"He's doing his job properly Curtis does that not look or sound a little strange to you?"

"Kelly you literally just told Nathan that we didn't need to worry about every little thing that happened to be out of place. It's coincidence or whatever." Curtis dismissed her and went back to painting.

Sighing in exhaustion Kelly decided to dismiss it to assuming Nathan was just angry and plotting, since that was the only logical explanation. Although a tiny part of her brain nagged at her in question - when was anything ever logical anymore.
