Ever since Félicie's Nutcracker Performance, things have been very different. For example, Mérante kissing me on the cheek during Félicie's performance. I thought he would have want someone that is not like me. "Disabled, poor, and someone who has their walls up." I guess I was wrong. I have been avoiding Mérante since that night. I can tell that it is annoying him, but it is what I need to do. Something else has changed majorly, I have adopted Félicie. The papers were quickly finalized after I sent them. When I first told Félicie, she initially did not speak for a long time, it  had really freaked me out. When she came back to earth, she told me she was excited about it, and I could not have been happier than I was at that moment. Well, that's what I thought, however it all changed when "He" arrived. "He" changed my mind on everything, but I wish I had a warning about what was to come because I was so not ready for it.

Like every morning, I made Félicie's breakfast and started to clean the attic. After Félicie finished her breakfast, she started to train. Noon eventually rolled around, which meant that we had to head off to her ballet class. Félicie's ballet class was going to start in 30 minutes, so we knew we had just enough time to get to her class on time without any delays. However it didn't stay that  way for very long.

"Okay Félicie, you have 20 minutes before class starts, you should pick up the pace," I said while going up the Opéra stairs. Félicie nodded and bolted up the stairs.

 I'm not being sarcastic. She literally bolted up the stairs! I had barely saw her go past me. It took me a minute to process what had just happened. I came back to reality, and shook off the daze. I continued to climb up the stairs slowly.

When I eventually reached the top of the set of stairs, I saw Félicie sitting on the bench that was right next to the stairs. As soon as she saw me, she jumped up to continued walking. We were walking in silence, as we turned the corner, I could tell Félicie was fidgeting because she hasn't talked in 5 minutes. 

"Do you want to say something Félicie?," I asked out of the blue.

"Yes, why aren't you talking to Monsieur Mérante?" Félicie asked.

I glanced at her as I kept my slow walking pace. I closed my eyes as I answered.

"Well Félicie, I don't have anything to really say to him," I answered.

"Well, why don't you-" Félicie began to say, but I could tell by looking at her face that she was not fully concentrated on me. Her face went completely pale suddenly.

"ODETTE LOOK OUT!," Félicie yelled. 

Before I could understand what she meant, I was bumped into by someone. All the sudden, I was falling backward. It felt like everything was in slow motion, my head was maybe an inch away from the ground when I felt a hand grab my left shoulder and the other hand grabs my right side of my waist. 

"Are you okay, miss?" A male voice asked.

"I'm fine," I said while trying to regain my balance.

I was about to thank the man for catching me, but when I looked at his eyes a childhood memory came back at me.

I was standing in the snow with my blue cloak on when I looked over to my friend I saw that he was just wearing a white long sleeve shirt and joggers. I looked at him with complete shock on my face.
