Chapter 3 : high school

I groan as my alarm goes off waking me from my sleep. I glare at the thing as if it would explode before slowly getting out of bed. I quickly get ready for the day before grabbing a slice of buttered toast and heading to the local high school. I pull into the parking lot after a large red truck that has seen better days. I park next to it and get out. Spotting the driver of the truck I walk over to her.
"Hey, do you mind pointing me in the direction of the office? I'm new here." I say making her awkwardly smile
"I'm new as well. I'm Bella." She says holding her hand out.
"Names nyx, nice to meet you Bella. " I say giving her a bright smile.
We walked to the office together and getting our schedules.
We were stopped by an Asian looking kid making me stiffen.
"You must be Isabella swan and nyx Campbell!" He says happily.
"Yes and it's just Bella for her." I say watching his moves not seeing him as a danger I relax.
'This is going to be harder than I thought. Not everyone is out to get you' I think to myself as I walk away to my first class, math.
My classes blew by fast.

Lunch
English
Ap history
By the time lunch rolled around I rejoined Bella and her new friends when her attention was on a group of people walking into the lunch room.
"Who are they?" Bella asked trying not to be obvious in her looking.
"Those are the Cullen's they just moved her from Alaska." Jessica says before becoming a massive gossip queen.
"The blonde girl. That's Rosalie, and the big-dark haired guy,emmet, they are like a thing. I'm not even sure that illegal." Jessica says
"Jess they aren't related." Angela says with a sigh.
"Yeah but they live together....it's weird." She retire rolling her eyes. "And okay, the little dark haired girl is alice, she's really weird. And she's with Ryan" she says as Alice is twirled making her smile by a man who could easily be a model. " and the blonde one who looks like he's in pain is jasper." As if hearing his name he glanced at the table his eyes stopping on me before he's nudged by a dark haired guy who looked to be brooding.
"Who's that?" Bella asked
"That's Edwards. No here is good enough for him or jasper. So like don't even try." Jessica says
'She's been rejected' I think before looking at the family and softly gasped as I realized that they were beyond weird.
'Shit I though it would be safe here. I need to call Sam.' I think as Edward looks at me soon followed by the hole family.
"I forgot I was supposed to call someone at lunch. Excuse me." I say calmly before walking outside which had me past the Cullen's.
"Shit." I mumble as up closer they definitely were not human.
'Vampires? Here? No they don't seem like it. It then again they do.' I think before walking outside.
I lean against a wall before deciding to skip the last two classes and heading straight home to call Sam.
