Sparklepelt's Rise

Chapter One

Niagrafalls licked her newborn kit, and looked into her sparkling rainbow orbs that she couldn't even see because she was a newborn kit. "What should we name her, Californiaheart?"

"I like Doomkit."

"What about Sparklekit, Cali?"

"No, too girly."

"Your name is Sparklekit, you will do many great things!"

"Thank you, Mama. That name is great."

The rainbow-eyed kit peered up at her mother, "I love you, Mama."

Suddenly, the rainbow-eyed kit's eyes turned red. "I feel so happy and gushy, I might just turn into a puddle of warm water."

"Your eyes changed colors," Californiaheart commented, "If they turn a dull and dingy yellow when you're jealous, you're eyes will change colors based on your mood."

"Thank you, wonderful tom-cat, you are amazing and that is correct," the kit replied, shaking her purple bangs out of her rainbow-colored eyes.

"I love you, Californiaheart! Be my mate!" Sparklekit gushed, causing Niagrafalls to gasp with shock and jealousy, "SPARLKLEKIT! YOU ARE NOW MY ENEMY! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THAT?!"

"I'm sorry, Mama, I love him." Sparklekit peered up at the towering angry she-cat with her rainbow eyes that then turned white for INNOCENCE.

"THEN GO DIE IN A HOLE!" She screeched, and the elders barged into the nursery den, "OOOH YES SUCH A DRAMA!"

Suddenly...a white cat with a shining pelt emerged into the den and began speaking with glowing eyes. "SPARKLE SHALL SHINE AND RISE!"

Niagrafalls gasped, and ran from her enemy and other enemy. She was supposed to be in a prophecy! Not the stupid little cat.

Suddenly, a fountain of ANGER erupted in the middle of the nursery, killing Sparklekit.

"MUA HA HA! Sparklekit is dead! That means I can be Californiaheart's mate again!"

"Not so fast, MOTHER. I died and came back greater than before! My name is now Sparklestar! Since you killed Africastar, I am now leader! Bad idea, MOTHER!"

"NOOOOOO! Californiaheart, save me!"

"Sorry, Sparklestar's better," he said, shrugging his shoulders and padding off to join his rainbow-eyed mate. "She has unrealistic rainbows eyes for goodness' sake!"
