I sat on a park bench, tears flowed down my face, they made my eyes sore and my head spin but I didn't care, how could shoto be related to someone so cruel, i sat on the bench for what seemed like an hour before a light tap on my shoulder brought me out of my head that was beginning to swamp with hatred for Shotos father.
A small boy around the age of 5 stood in front of my with a worried expression on his face. "Why are you crying?" He questioned "my mummy said that if I want to become a hero, i have to spread happiness and hope wherever I go and I'd hate to leave a damsel in distress, that wouldn't be very heroic of me" he stated with a grin, i smiled and nodded, i took a deep breath and tried to speak as clearly as possible, "a friend of mine invited me to a party at his families house, but one of the people at the party started being mean to me because I don't have a quir-superpower like him and it made me upset, so I ran away and came here" I made up a couple of lies that I slipped into my story so that he would understand what I was talking about. "He sounds like a meanie, just because you don't have any superpowers doesn't mean he can pick on you, a hero always looks for the best in people!" He said, throwing his fist in the air with a big grin plastering his face.
A woman shouted towards the little boy saying it was time for him to go home, there was sadness in his eyes but smiled and waved goodbye and telling me to ignore what Enji had said, to keep smiling no matter what people say...just like all might before he retired, and with that he ran off to join his mum who gave me a smile and walked out of the park.
I smiled to myself and sat in silence for at least half an hour when I herd my name being called, I turned my head and saw Shoto and Fuyumi running towards me, I stood from where I was sat and began walking towards them with a small smile on my face.
As they got closer it was obvious that they wasn't going to slow down anytime soon so I braced myself for the impact, we all hit the floor at the same time, landing on top of each other. I started giggling as we looked like a pile of red, white and H/C pancakes, the two siblings looked at me like I'd gone mad, "what happened Y/N last time we saw you, you were balling your eyes out?" Fuyumi questioned "I got some advice from a friend that I made and it brightened my day" I beamed at them thinking of my conversation with the little boy.
Time skipp...
We sat in an ice cream parlour talking about what happened and the friend I had made, when shoto spoke up asking if I wanted to meet his mother after lunch which I answered with a quick shake of my head, I wasn't ready to be judged again, especially by his mother.
Shotos POV
I asked Y/N if she wanted to meet my mother to forget about what happened at my house, but she answered by shaking her head and she seemed to be cowering slightly, I looked into her eyes, fear and sadness washed over them...she must think that my mother will have the same opinion of her as my shitty father.
I gave her a sympathetic smile and said "you have nothing to worry about, my mother is the nicest person you'll ever meet, nothing like my dumpster fire of a father" she gave me a small smile and the cute giggle I love, "Ok" she said quietly. So once we finished our ice cream we set off towards the hospital.
Time skip
Y/N POV
We walked through the hospital corridors until we reached a large sliding door, Shoto gave me a reassuring smile before reaching for the door handle and pulling it open. I peeked inside to see a woman with beautiful snow white hair staring out the window, upon hearing Shoto enter she turned her head and gave him a loving, lopsided smile.
Once they had greeted each other, Shoto turned to where I was standing and beckoned me in, as I walked into her line of sight she gasped, putting her hands to her mouth with tears in her eyes. "Oh my goodness, you're so beautiful" I blushed at what she said and answered with a small "thank you", then Shoto spoke up "mother, i would like you to meet my wife, Y/N" "it's nice to meet you, you both make a wonderful couple" his mum said making both of us blush.
We talked for what seemed like hours until Shotos mum pulled him away and whispered something to him...
Shotos POV
My mother pulled me away out of range of Y/N so she couldn't hear us. "You've picked a good one, hold onto your love for one another and never let anyone or anything corrupt it, it's you and her verses the problem not you verses her, even without a quirk, she has the heart of a hero and that's hard to find nowadays" she smiled and hugged me tightly "Don't let what happened to me and your idiot of a father happen to the two of you, learn from our mistakes" she let go and we walked back to Y/N.
Y/N POV
We'd started talking about Shotos siblings and what they were like when they were young and how adorable they were as babies...

"So while we're on the topic...when will I be getting grandkids?" I burst out laughing and shoto turned bright red at the idea of smaller versions of him and me running round creating chaos.
Heeeey, sorry it's taken so long to complete this chapter as I've started college now so the chapters won't be updated as frequently as they were in the summer holidays, but when I get a chance to I will try to update. Thx. Spacedad_shiro xoxo
