##TIME SKIP 2 MONTHS AND 29 DAYS LATER##
Ambers POV
He hasn't woken up yet. We have two days before they pull the plug.
I walk into his hospital room, I had been dispatched a month earlier.
He was laying there, lifeless. His breaths were slow and steady. The only sound in the room being the heart monitor beeping very slowly, "Mitch? Baby. please don't leave me. I need you. I can't deal with Becca and Ashley, not on my own anyways." I can barely say without bursting into tears.
"Hey, Amber?" Jerome says
"Yeah?" I choke out.
"They're going to pull the plug tomorrow." He says
"HE HAS TO WAKE UP JEROME!!! I need him" I whisper the last part
"I know, trust me."
" I can't handle this. I'm going to get a doctor" I say as I hear a groggy voice say "Amber?"
I spin around on my heels as quick as possible and see Mitch.
With his eyes open.
