I laid in bed and texted Regina.

What are you doing?
Studying for a test. Everything okay??
Yeah I just.. miss you..
Aw! I miss you too ducky 😭
I know you're still with Robin I just.. i wish i could show you off and stuff.
I know baby. I want that too. It will happen. I promise.
I know. Text me when you're done studying okay?

I sighed and closed out of our messages. I wish i could help Regina not be scared. But we'll get there. I went back to watching a movie as I tried not to think about it.

I knocked on Regina's dorm door and waited. She answered and smiled at me. "Hey baby. Come in." She said and I stepped in, shutting the door behind me. She pulled me close. "I missed you." She said and i nodded, scrunching my nose up. "You smell like his gross cologne." I mumbled and she frowned a little. "Yeah sorry. I was with him today." She said and i sighed. "Yeah that's what I wanted to talk to you about.." i Mumbled and she stepped away. "What is it?" She asked and i sighed. "Regina we've been sneaking around behind his back since school started the first week of August. It's November." I said and she blushed. "I know you're scared. But I can't keep doing this. Im not going to let anyone hurt you. Ever. But I can't keep sneaking around. It's wrong. And I want to be with you. But not like this." I said and her face hardened. "Fine. Get out." She spit and i furrowed my eyebrows. "What?" I asked and she nodded. "Get the hell out." She said and i scoffed, leaving the room and slamming the door behind me. This is what I get for falling in love.

I sat at the football game with ruby and Belle. I sighed seeing regina and robin. The cheerleaders aren't cheering tonight for some reason. She smiled at him and tangled a hand in his hair, pulling him into a kiss. I felt my blood boil. I feel so fucking stupid. I should've known she cared about him. She's dating him for fucks sake. I sighed and looked away. "You okay em?" Ruby asked and i shook my head. "This girl used me to experiment with her sexuality. And I'm fucking hurt." I said and she frowned. "How do you know?" She asked and i sighed. "She cheated on her boyfriend with me. And after I ended whatever the fuck it was we were doing, she stayed with him." I spit and ruby sighed. She wrapped her arm around me. "It's okay em. You'll find someone." She said and i shook my head. "I don't want to anymore." I said and she sighed. Regina turned and looked at me, her eyes immediately filling with rage as she saw ruby with her arm around me and leaning on me. She visibly clenched her jaw and i raised an eyebrow. She turned to robin and nipped his earlobe before whispering something in his ear. He stood up and grabbed her hand, then she stood up. They left and I felt my heart breaking. What a bitch.

Ruby, Belle and I left the game a few minutes before the end so we could get out with no problems. We walked back to our building and I tried to enjoy the cold fall evening. But I can't. I'm too angry and hurt. How could she? I thought she really liked me. But she just used me. I sighed as we got to our building. "You guys go on up. I'm gonna go kick the ball around a bit." I said and walked to the back of the building where there's a small soccer field. There's always a few balls back here. I immediately started dribbling and kicking the ball around. "Hey. You're Emma swan right?" Someone called out and i looked at her. She was older. "Yeah." I said and she hummed. "I'm the soccer coach. I was walking by and saw you playing." She said and i nodded a little. "I'm looking for a new midfielder. Have you played before?" She asked and i nodded. "Would you want to join the team?" She asked and i shrugged a bit. "Sure." I said and she smiled. "Great. Be at practice on Tuesday at six am and I'll give you your gear and schedule." She said and I nodded. "Okay." I said and she smiled. "I'll see you then." She said before jogging away. I went to my room to see if I could find my cleats. I haven't played since high school. But my feet should be the same size. And I should still have my cup. If I don't, I'll have to get one. I went in my room and started looking around. I found my cleats and smiled, then found my cup. I smiled and set them out. I missed playing soccer. I was pretty good in high school. But I quit so I could focus on my workload. But I'm used to the work now and I have way more free time. I also like that the school has soccer year round. It's nice.

I walked up to the soccer field and the coach smiled seeing me. I walked over. "Hey Swan. Come on. I'll introduce you." She said and we walked over to the other girls. "Alright ladies. Meet your new midfielder, Emma Swan." She said and some of the girls said hey or waved. I waved back. Then I saw one of Regina's friends, Kathryn Nolan. She's staring at me. And it's getting on my nerves.

Soccer practice was going well. I was getting along and meshing well with the other girls. Then practice ended. I got my schedule and a bag of uniforms and some other gear then I started to leave. "Hey. Swan. Wait up." A girl called and then Kathryn was running over to me. "Yeah?" I asked and she hummed. "I know Regina cheated on robin with you." She said and i raised an eyebrow. "What?" I asked and she hummed. "I saw the way you looked at each other. I.. i know she's gay. She hasn't told me. But I know. And I know you ended things with her." She said and i sighed. "Yeah. Because I deserve more than just being a side piece." I said and she nodded. "You do. But you weren't just a side piece to her." She said and i sighed. "Well I'd love to be with her. But not while she's with someone else." I said and she nodded. "Just.. don't shut her out." She said and i sighed again.
