HEY RANDOM PEOPLE OF THE WORLD! Here's that new story I was talking about! Short intro, don't have much time!

----------------------------------

---???'s POV---

We had wanted to see her smile again. That was only one reason we had planned to do this. Back then I was only six, and thought nothing of it being forbidden. We truly thought we could do it. Well, we thought I could. I remember what he said, down to the very last word.

"How much do you miss her?" He asked.

"A lot, daddy." I had responded.

"Then you can bring her back." He said simply. "And I can show you how."

One year later, we had gotten everything we needed together, and I knew so much about alchemy that I figured nothing could go wrong. None of the books mentioned it was forbidden, though it seemed like every book my dad handed me had a few pages torn out.

Then, when the time came, I sat at the edge of a large transmutation circle, my dad standing close behind me. I wore a smile on my face, truly thinking that my mother would come back from the dead.

When I placed my hands down on the circle, I immediately felt something was wrong. I didn't have enough time to think before both me and my father were sucked into the portal, both in too much shock to scream.
