2. The phone call

KNOCK KNOCK..

"One Second!" I yell out to the front door, I run quickly to my hand bag and grab my purse, rushing back to my front room I open it to a short freckly kid, dressed up in his domino's uniform "One large margarita pizza?" the boy said to me "That's right" i said smiling down into my purse trying to get my money ready "That will be $18.99"

I grab out a $20 note from my purse and hand it to the boy, "Keep the change" i say smiling at him wanting him to hurry up and give me the pizza "Thanks miss" he says while handing me the pizza with a now larger smile

I'm now sitting on my new gorgeous grey coach in the lounge room eating pizza and watching 'Lost' what a life.. well at least until my phone rung. I stop my TV show and look at my phone to an unknown number which i hang up instantly to resume my show

Within seconds later it calls again, this time i answer "You have the wrong number sorry" I say then ending the call

I walk over to the fridge to get a drink while my iPhone is still in my hand, to no surprise my phone rings again, "Hello?" i say answering it

"Hey Jennifer don't hang up, don't hang up" a mans voice rushes through my phone in a hurried tone, "Who is this?" i say taking the phone away from my ear to see if it still said unknown number

"Uh well, its Alex" i slam the fridge shut in shock and stood still, i only have meet one Alex in my life making me instantly know who this person is

"How did you get my number?" i said with confidence and slight annoyance, "Well you see, as I am still your Dentist I do have all your details on file" I frown my eyebrows forgetting that the boss only took me for the time being, which noting he had done an amazing job on, it honestly looks almost better then before

"Hey look i know its weird me calling you and all, i get if you want to hang up, i just wanted to see how you were doing with your tooth, that's all" I raised one eyebrow higher and smirked because i could tell he was buckling with what to say

"Oh well yes my tooth is fine" i say with more confidence, knowing that his now nervous, "Alright then, well I'm happy to hear that" I choose to say nothing because all i can think to say is "ok" and i don't want to be blunt nor rude

Now I'm the nervous one..

"Well uh" it was silent for a moment, and i could tell he was trying to keep the convocation going and i wasn't really inputting on the convocation, only because i had know idea what to even say

I looked over to the coach and starred at my pizza for a moment, I then surprised myself from the word that then left my mouth, "Hey do you want to come over by any chance, I'm just eating pizza by myself, and i think i shouldn't have ordered a large" i giggled, to which he began to laugh loudly

"What is it with you and food?" "Aye, i love food what can i say" we both laugh together for a moment

"Alright well i love pizza, if you don't mind me coming" "nah its fine i would love the company, ill send you my details now" "Alright, catch ya" "bye" I ended the call and stood there in shock for a moment, i then text him my home details

Oh shit his actually coming over what do i do?

About 15 min later i heard a knock on my door, "oh shit" i get up from the coach and rush over to the door, i stand there for a second trying to fix myself before opening it, i see him standing there with a very big smile and a bunch of pink flowers in his hand
