4. "i'll see you again, won't i?"

"Jennifer, you home?!"

I heard the yelling voice coming from down stairs, assuming it was my mum that's come to see my new house, I look to the shirtless Alex next to me, our eyes widen. "Shit" i muttered quietly to myself looking over at the time 4:37pm which was on my bedside table.

We immediately jump up and start gathering our clothing from the floor, and start putting them on as quick as we could, until i remembered i never responded to my mum

"I'll be right down!" i scream out, in hope that she won't come up stairs to my room

"Where should i go?" I heard Alex whisper from behind me, i spun around to face him and started to think of somewhere he could go, i immediately thought about the window but i knew he wouldn't be dressed in time and also where two stories high, i run over to my cupboard and opened it to see if there was enough room for him and there was

"Here!" i whispered back to Alex, he started to walk over to me with frowned eyebrows, "your gonna shove me in there?" he says, i nodded for a quick response and reached for his muscular arm to pull him in, "Soon as your done getting changed, you can sneak out my window" i say quickly and go to shut the cupboard door on him

"Wait!" he whispers loudly, holding the door with his hand to keep it open, i frown my eyebrows in confusion "what?" i whisper back quickly not wanting to take very long, he pulls me by the back of my neck and gives me a passionate kiss, that leaves me speechless as he pulls away and smirks at me, "you can shut the door now" I smile shyly back at him and do so

Im now fully dressed and rushing down the stairs to go see mum, whilst i was putting my messy ruffled hair into a ponytail

Hmm i wonder why it's so ruffled, i brushed it this morning

I laugh internally at my stupid thought. "Mum?!" I yell out wondering where she is, "I'm in the kitchen sweetheart" i walk into the kitchen to see my mum unboxing some of my stuff

"Hey mumma" i smile at her as i notice she's trying to help clean up all my mess

"Hey darling, how are you finding everything so far" she looks over at me with a friendly smile "yeah it's good, it will be a lot better as soon as i finish unpacking all of these boxers and i-" "i can help you if you want, i have nothing to do today" I smile at mums enthusiastic answer as i can tell she misses me being around "that would be great" i smile, thanking her mentally

"Would u like a coffee?" i ask my mum as she nods with a big smile, i hate coffee but i know my mum would appreciate it "I even brought coffee for when you come over, can you believe it?" mum laughs at my comment, as she usually does with everything i say

I find my mum to be very funny and understanding, considering my mum had me at 29 she's very down with everything and the way i speak which most parents usually aren't. She had my oldest sister Tess at 19 and me 10 years later. I've never minded being the youngest probably because of our massive ages gap, unlike most sibling we never have gotten into a fight or argue much all in fact

I walk over to the cupboard nearest to the fridge to grab the sugar and coffee. I notice my mum finished unboxing all of my stuff as she placed it all on the kitchen island bench 

"Do you have anymore i can unpack right now?" she asked me. I turned my head around toward her trying to think, i look back down at my hands as I'm grabbing a teaspoon of coffee and placing it into the cup 

"Yeah i have some in the living room, if you wouldn't mind" i smile at her looking over my shoulders once more, to see her widely smile and nod at me before leaving
