It was a bright day. The sun was overhead and the breeze was a gentle flow. The United States was in chaos. The year was 2025. The Soviet Army and the U.S were in a war. The Soviet Union was ramparting across the eastern border of West Virginia. On a large hill sat a small cottage. It was miles away from any city. The Russians had decided to travel around the cities and get as close to the Capitol as possible before unleashing hell on earth. A small boy was atop the hill, riding his bike. The little boy was no older than six years. His hair was an unnatural silver, his eyes a faded grey. An older woman was walking out of the front door to call for her son.

"Senshi, honey. Come on, it's time for supper."

She had stopped in her tracks once she realized a small branch of the Soviet Union was protruding outside of her home. The woman grabbed her son and ran inside the door. The head of the small Russian unit felt amused and decided to stop marching for a short while to enjoy himself. The Captain of the unit began to pace towards the front door before placing a knock on to the plastered wood. There was no answer to the door. The Captain pressed his foot against the door and kicked it down. The sweet aroma of freshly fried pork chops and stewed green beans filled his nose. There was nobody in the house, but the Captain knew they were hiding. The Captain walked into the small house. He walked through the kitchen and into the living room. There was a small hallway to his left with dim lighting. He started towards the hallway with ease. He walked past a door to his right side. The door slowly creaked open and a medium sized man popped out with a large machete in his hands. He stepped out of the doorway and was fixing to attempt to strike the Captain down with the machete before he stepped on a wooden platform as it creaked. The Captain turned around and the father of the home let out a desperate cry as he swung the blade down. The Russian raised his arm towards the handle of the machete to stop the attack. After completing this, the Russian pulled a small Desert Eagle from inside his right coat pocket. He placed the tip of the gun at the left side of the man's chest. He pulled the trigger of the gun and the bullet soared through his chest and pierced his heart, only to go completely through and come out of the left side of his back only mere inches from his spine. Blood spurted onto the walls of the dim hallway, the medium sized man's body turning a pale color. He fell onto the floor into a pool of crimson. The woman heard the shot fired. She ran from her hiding place into the hallway to find her husband dead on the floor with the Russian hovering over his corpse. Te Russian swung his head around to the woman, a devilish smile on plastered on to his face. The woman's face gained an enraged expression as he began to stampede her way towards the Russian. The Captain of the unit turned the gun towards her, only to let loose another round. The bullet forced its way into her skull, piercing the front part of her brain as blood began leaking down her face. The little boy from earlier.. was not found. He remained hidden in a deep part of the cellar below the house. He realized the fired shots were from a gun that his family did not own. His head was buried into his crossed arms which laid atop his knees. Tears strolling down his face.

"Mommy.. Daddy..."

He tried his best to stay as quite as possible. Moments later, the house exploded. The Russians had planted bars of dynamite into the center of the household. The walls and roof came crashing down onto the wooden floors which fell in atop the boy's head. The boy passed out..

A few days later..

A pair of colorless eyes had reopened. He surrounded by walls of white. His sight was hazy but he was slowly gaining it back. After his sight became clear enough, he realized he was in a hospital. The hospital was located in a strong hold near the border of Ohio at the edge of West Virginia. His body was strapped to a bed, holding him tightly. He tried to wiggle himself loose, but after a few minutes, he gave up. His body was tired. After what seemed like hours of laying there, staring at the walls, a nurse walked in. Behind her was the First Lieutenant of the United States Army. The nurse looked at the small boy then gently spoke to him.

"You're a lucky boy. First Lieutenant Bradshaw and his unit were patrolling a nearby area when they heard the explosion. He saved you."

Senshi's dazed eyes turned towards the Lieutenant. His words filled with hope.

"My.. My mommy.. And daddy..?"

The First Lieutenant looked down at the floor, finding it hard to speak. He slowly shook his head in discomfort. Senshi's eyes began to tear up. A small river flowing down his cheeks as his head boiled with anger and sadness. The Lieutenant, for the first time, spoke to the boy.

"Your parents were killed before the explosion.. They were found with bullet wounds."

Senshi screamed at the top of his lungs. His voice filled with despair.

"Those damned Russians!"

Senshi could barely gain time to breath. His cries were soft and caring, but enraged. He formed a disgust towards the Soviet Union. The First Lieutenant spoke again.

"We would like to conduct a series of tests on you Senshi. Your body is filled with genes. Unique genes. The genes in your body are rare and they could combine with a molecular substance the science department has created. If you survive this, you could be a war machine."

Senshi cries got softer and softer. His anger towards the Soviet Union had taken control of his conscious as he nodded his head. He had agreed to be tested upon. He swore to himself that he would fight for the remainder of his life. So that nobody would have to suffer the same fate that he had..

To be continued..

~Author's Note~

For any of you who might think so, I do not have a hatred towards Russians. I thought it would be more of a story if two of the world's powerhouses were at war with one another. Please R&R!
