"Show me." I ordered as my arms pushed open the door to my office, and everyone was crowded around Milo. "What do you think you have?"
"This could be Trisha. It was taken a half hour ago near the café that was next to the old building." Milo stated, "But since you've seen her more, we had to ask you."
"Alex has seen her." I argued, my eyes landing on Alex. "Why don't you know?"
"It's always good to make sure." He stated, and I stared at the screen to see if it was. The woman had a long dark coat on with blonde hair, looking like it was dyed recently. But her height, and the way she walked… and the men who joined her shortly… it was her. And it was her team.
"Follow them." I ordered, and the map of the city shot up on the screen, and he followed multiple surveillance cameras to be able to spot them from different angles in different locations. "What the hell are they doing?"
"We don't know." Everyone backed away from the computer because Milo needed the space, so we stood in a circle in front of the desk and shared our theories.
"They could've thought we were still at that building." Peter spoke first.
"Yes, but when they realized we weren't, what would they do?" I questioned.
"They could've either looked up where we are now, not like it's that hard." Jane added, "Not on the internet, but through the code linked from the building's site."
"But would they know about it?" I turned towards her, "Probably not."
"We have to remember that our dear old Aunt Trisha is an American, so she'd know the way around that." Alex acknowledged, "And that she's working for the Russians, maybe they'd know, too."
"But why would she do that?" I asked it slowly, thinking of reasons, but none seemed plausible. "Why would she betray our country for one we hate, and then go after her own family?"
"Whatever the reason, it better be pretty damn good." Peter muttered.
"Think about what she had in her house." I ordered, and focused on it. "She had pictures of everyone I was connected to, but my Dad was pictured as her top interest. But why? There has to be a bigger reason then her hating him almost two decades ago."
"Does she hate everyone in your family?" Jane asked, but I shook my head.
"No, I think she still likes my Mom. She's still her sister." I glanced at Peter and Alex for ideas, but they both shook their heads. And then we were stuck.
"Guys." Milo yelled to get our attention, and we all turned to face him. "I found her next footage. And it's live."
We all crowded around the computer, staring at where she was. Her and her group went through a door and into a building, a stone one that was very tall. We waited for them to come out, but they didn't.
"Where is that?" I demanded as I went around the desk, my hands on the desk, facing them. "It looks familiar."
"I know." Alex crossed his arms, face scrunched up. "And I can't place it, either."
"That kinda looks like…" Peter started, but fell silent.
I picked my head up to speak again, but fell speechless when I looked out the window. I saw the figures on the rooftop of the building across the street, finishing up putting together what could only be… a missile launcher. And the blonde-haired woman with the long, dark coat was with them.
They found us.
"Get down!" I ordered as I heard the boom, and everyone fell to the floor as the missile was launched and ripped through my new office. Wood, papers, and metal shattered and was scattered all over the room, and smoke was filling in fast. Then the explosion sounded, followed by more screams.
