Chapter 6

“What kind of knight are you?” I said quoting the movie, “one of a kind!” I may have seen this movie to many times.

Niall looked down at me and giggled, making my head bounce on his chest. “How many times have you seen this movie?”

“A few more then I would care to admit. It was my family’s favorite movie, so we would watch it often.” He laughed and tugged me closer to him. We watched a couple more minutes of the movie before Niall started to talk again.

“Um... Zoey?” he asked

“Yeah?” I asked still looking at the screen.

“…. I really like you and I think you are beautiful; would you like to out on a date sometime?” he rushed out.

I sat up and looked at him; “I thought you would never ask”, then I lied back down and snuggled deeper into his chest.

The movie ended an hour later. But I was still a little freaked out from the other movie so niall said that I could stay at his house. We walked up stairs and he brought me into his room, “you can sleep here,” he said then he walked into his closet, and came back with a t-shirt and sweat pants, “the bathrooms over their” and he pointed to a door on the other side of the room.

“Thank you, niall”

“Don’t mention it, babe.” And I walked into the bathroom, it was sort of messy. There were clothing and towels all over the floor. I just stepped around them. I got changed and used the bathroom. Then made my way over to the sink, brushed my teeth and washed my face. I exited the bathroom and Niall was changing. Covering up my eyes I said “how does this keep happening? I walked in on harry too.”

“Bad timing I guess” he said and I giggled “I am covered” he told me, so I took my hand off my eyes. He was hardly covered; all he had on was a pair of gray sweatpants. I was looking at him when niall raised an eyebrow “were you checking me out?”

“Maybe…” I blushed, and he chuckled. He stepped towards me and there was about a foot between us.

“Zoey…” now there was an inch between us. “I really liked spending time with you…”

“I know, I had fun too.” I interrupted him.

“And I want to spend more time with you, a lot more time with you… I guess what I am trying to ask is, will you be my bird?”

I giggled “what’s a bird” even though I had an idea what it meant already

“Its Irish slang… for girlfriend.” He responded, as I leaned forward and kissed him. His lips were still for a moment in shock, but they slowly started to move against mine. His kiss was gentle and soft. But it was over in the blink of an eye. “Is that a yes?” he asked and I nodded my head as he leaned in for another kiss. This time the kiss was intense full of lust, and again he pulled away. “You need to get some sleep for our date tomorrow.”

“Where are we going?” I asked

“I don’t know yet, you’ll just have to wait and see” he told me making his way to the door.

“Niall can you sleep with me tonight, I am still a little freaked out from the movie.” I asked, while sitting down on his bed.

 “Sure thing, love” and he came and sat down next to me. I laid down putting my head on the pillow facing away from him. He was next to me in a second with his hand over my side pulling me closer. I closed my eyes and feel asleep surrounded by everything niall; his sent, his clothing, his room, and of course him.
