Once I woke up, I realized I was on land so I sprinted to the edge of the sea and dove in. I shifted into my mermaid form and swam home.
My father was sitting on his favorite clam and reading. I swam into my sisters room and said
"Why is love so complicated?" She laughed and then answered
"Marine, love isn't complicated, it just takes time."
"It's complicated for me." I muttered under my breath.
After that I swam into my room and looked aft my picture of my human boyfriend.
Love is complicated for me,I can't even tell him I'm a mermaid.
I thought to myself.
"I'm gonna go for a swim dad!" I said before rushing out the door, swimming to shore, shifting, and running to my boyfriend, Cole's house.
