Jack (marine's dad's )POV
So, my daughter is dating a land creature. And, a wherewolf none the less. Wow.So I'll meet him, his pack, and alpha John(Cole's father). This should be interesting.
Marines POV
well, its saturday. yay! im soooooo happy! today is the day my dad will see how great Cole is, with those dreamy green eyes like emeralds, and, and, stop it marine, focus on getting ready! i tell myself while curling my hair into lose curls. then, its time for...... the dress. i dont know why but today i feel so girly! i dont know, maybe my dad will accept Cole, after all he agreed to go on land. wait... my dad aggreed to go on land?! ok, he really is gonna try.
LATER THAT DAY

'' ok dad, see theres nothing to it ,'' i say, trying to coax my dad onto the dock were i stand patiently. see, my dad has'nt shifted into human form in a long time.
'' just think of yourself with legs, and clothed, yes clothed, that is all i ask of you! all of you guys to!'' i say gesturing to the rest of the pod. they did it in a flash because, well, someone has to get food for the pod! so we all take turns.
everyone, including my dad, was finally on the dock.we all headed towards Cole's house and i knocked on the door. aparently, Cole lives with his pack in the pack house. he is next in line to become alpha, after his father, alpha John.
Cole answered the door hapilly and smiled when he saw me.we all got invited in and i got introduced to alpha John. he really is a nice guy, and loves his work, but what i really like about him is that he says ' familly comes first'.
it was a little later when i heard bickering. i went to find the source and was shocked to see my dad and alpha John arguing over weither its wierd or not that a land creature is dating a water creature. my dad was saying,
'' its wierd!'' while alpha John was, while trembling with anger, saying,
'' there mates, A.K.A made for each other!'' then everyone in my pod and in Cole's pack started to join the bickering and soon i could'nt take it anymore. i marched strait in the middle of the whole thing and yelled at the of my lungs,
'' SHUT UP! " everyone turned to me and all i could think was, well this is awkward.
