   Cole's POV

Marine got out of the water and shifted back into herself. And I ran into the house. Shifted, and threw on a black t-shirt and some jeans. I could hear Marine coming inside and I walked downstairs as casual as possible.

"So, your a wolf. I-I've heard of you guys b-but I've never actually seen one until

t-today." She stuttered quietly, almost as if trying not to make me hurt her.

"Why are you stuttering?" I asked, slightly hurt that she would think that of me.

   "The things I've h-heard aren't s-so good.

I heard that if you upset a w-wolf, they

c-can kill you in an i-instant." She said still stuttering.

"We can, but we would never do that to our mates."

   "Mates?"

"Oh, right. Mates are people who where literally MADE for each other. They have the strongest bond on the planet. They feel each other's pain, physically and emotionally, so If you hurt your mate, you would feel like there was absolutely no reason to live. I knew we where mates the first time I saw you. Oh and you do know about inner wolf's right?" I finished not wanting to explain it to her.

"Yes I know what inner wolf's are." She said in a 'du' tone, she looked so cute when she did that!

   Marines POV

"Dad?" I said as I walked in the door.

"Yes?" He said from the living room.I walked in and just decided to say it, and that's what I did.

"Dad, I'm dating a wherewolf." I said. He spit out his coffee and stared at me.

"Dad? Are you OK?" I asked concerned of his mental medical state.

"Yea, I'm ok, just a little overwhelmed that my daughter is dating a land creature." He said thoughtfully.

"Umm, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but I just found out about him being a wherewolf too. His name is Cole, and he invited you and I to meet his dad at a party this weekend..... on land." There was a long silence while he was thinking.

"Ok but on one condition. You don't kiss him or anything at all." He said sternly. Over-protective dad, I thought and dramatically sighed, "fine, no kisses!" I then imitated my heart breaking. I ran to Corals room, told her everything, then shut her opened mouth.
