Punch. The enemies are all defeated. I stand victorious as I get pulled out of the simulation.

"Nice job, Avalon. Next time, try to question the leader." My aunt Silena said.

"C'mon Aunt, you know that I'm too impulsive to do that."

"One day you'll learn that's how you're supposed to win."

My Aunt- Silena Garcia- is the head of WISS, the Women's Institute of Super Spies. She took the position after my parents died fighting MORW (A/N: definition in the previous chap) and since then has waited until she can avenge their deaths.

"Ava, sweetie. It's time for school."

I walk from the simulation room into the kitchen. The head chef, Agatha, prepared blueberry pancakes. I started to dig in to it when my cousin, Stephanie walks into the room.

"Ava! If you eat too much at once, you could choke!" Stephanie yelled acting like a mother would. She's the closest thing to a sister that I have.

"Steph, I can take care of myself, you know."

"Not like that, you won't."

After pancakes, I grab my bag and walk with Stephanie to the front door.

"Good morning, Tomas," we said in unison. Our butler, Tomas, was already at the front door to drive us to school.

"Always a pleasure to be of service," he said as we walked to the car.

When we arrived, I went straight to my locker. Stephanie, being a year older won't see me till we have to go back to HQ. The first day of school is always hectic. Freshmen block the halls in their safety groups and the Seniors start picking on them. I started walking to my first class, dodging the crowd of confused newbies. As I was walking, I bumped into someone and dropped my books.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" I exclaimed as I started to pick up my books from the floor. The person who bumped into me- a guy with black hair and slightly tanned skin- started to help me.

"I'm so sorry. I'm Javier, by the way," He said looking at me with intense dark blue eyes, while having his hand outstretched. My spy instincts were lost for a moment while I stared at his eyes.

"Ah-Avalon," I finally managed to say while shaking his hand, "Sorry for screaming at you earlier."

"It's all good, so I guess I'll see you around?" he said as he walked away. As I kept walking, only one thing was on my mind.

                           Javier.
